1. It's true like Oh, I meant...
2. Yours should be called "Been There, Done That"
3. [pedantic cow] Surely it should be 'Autobiography' if we're getting to choose the title? [/pedantic cow]
4. Your enthusiasm is overwhelming! Where are the balloons and kazoo's?!
5. Sounds jolly bon to me! 179087 You picking me up at half 12 then? 179091 Cheeky monkey! Aye probably, if I don't push the boat out and drink. Payday on Friday! 179105 It was a joke petal If it's payday Friday then you should definitely drink. It can be your one day of indulgence for the month
6. It may be a little bit late in the day but I've just spied it at the bottom of the page. Hope you're having a fab day, Chris. Get yourself back along to a pissup soon
7. Sounds jolly bon to me! 179087 You picking me up at half 12 then?
8. a few times - but its hotter than hell in August and the reflected light from all the white limestone buildings is sommat else In general I don't think Malta is good for a beach holiday (there's only one really) but its a fascinating place, lots to see historically and as its so small its easy to get around Hire a scooter (tony's in Gzira has been around for several generation) - easier to park and easier to get around he back streets or use th ebuses - they all run to and from the main bus station in valetta most people speak pretty good english - Maltese food has improved somewhat over the last 10 years - traditionally it combined the worst bits of italian, arabic and the British Army cooking. DO NOT DRINK THE LOCAL WINE they look like sicilians but they aren't excitable at all - the language looks and sounds like an arabic clone Not as strongly religous as they once were but still dominated by the Church Read the books on the Great Siege back in the 16th Century and ones about WW2 to get a background There are some of the worlds most "interesting "bars in Valetta - but watch yourself 179035 Cheers Rob. I'm going with the family as a beach holiday so you've made my day there! Actually I couldn't give a fuck about the beach as long as my appartments have a pool (and more importantly a pool bar). The only reading I do is this site so there's nee chance of me reading those books but thanks anyway. 179058 Thats where i was, no beach as such, a little gravel. It's like the setting of Coccoon old biddies n gadgies running around. I hope you like bingo, clerb singers and sunday lunch with reeeeeeeeeeel bisto. All bars Bell n Bucket, Golden Lion sort, managed by ex managers from the smoke the sea front did have a few clubs. CIU It's like staying in downtown Beruit. Valletta is canny for a tobie around. What hotel are you staying at? 179063 Cheers Bobby I'm really looking forwards to this fucker now! I think the place I'm stopping is called Club Salina or something, it's an RCI timeshare place. 179081 I've been to Malta twice, both times to Qawra and it was canny. If you get a chance go to Gozo and Comino (the small islands) for a visit - they're pretty and fairly unspoilt.
9. Looks like I've found a new way to keep warm this winter!
10. That sounds gay. 178979 I meant to school with! You mincer 178982

Elvis

Only an icon these days because he died when he did. If he'd lived he'd have ended up a pathetic, pitied figure that "used to be good once" Agree that he was good-looking when he was young and had huge charisma but vastly overrated imo.
12. Cath's exemplary demonstration of where over emotional thinking gets you. "Ooh a bastard! Ooh a teddy bear! Ooh a kitten! Ooh a bastard! Ooh I don't know what I want!" 178927 Luckily I'm not quite that airheaded.
13. Never said I didn't have feelings, and I never hide them, I just don't cry. Finding new and interesting ways to express yourself in therapy to prove what a new age man you are is equally up it's own arse btw. 178922 Neither is a permanently-sobbing New Age man attractive, for the record....
14. Men who can admit they have feelings and emotions are entirely preferable to those who put on the I'm-A-Bloke-And-Nothing-Ever-Gets-To-Me act. So there
15. Reading that has set me off 178859 I hate thinking about my mam and dad's divorce like. My dad never wanted them to get divorced and I remember going into the kitchen after they'd had a screaming row once and seeing my dad sitting there by himself looking down at the kitchen table just fiddling with a ringpull in his hands. I felt absolutely gutted for him cos I knew he must have been thinking "This is it. No more marriage. No more living with my kids". I just got something out the fridge and left the room and I've felt a bit guilty about not saying something ever since. 178868 Fuck. That's a bit heavy. 178874 I know where he's coming from like. There's been things in the past year or so that have easily set me off where they never would have done before. I think I've turned into a hard-faced soft shite
16. I like when DanTheMan calls you darling. 178843 That's exactly the kind of thing I mean - it's hilarious!
17. I must say I find it very odd if I get called 'love' by a bloke that is younger than me. It just sounds ridiculous. *cue jokes about my age *
18. It takes nowt to make me cry like, but The Champ leaves me sobbing for hours afterwards Love Story is another one an'all..
19. Nice to see the signed Shearer shirt will be safe!! I'd save the cats. Anything else can be replaced.
20. Does this film even have a plot or is it literally just snakes.... well, you know
21. If anyone thinks needs a bit of cheering up then give the smoggie on the Legends a listen. Miserable git
22. That's the way - be positive Sima! It wasn't a shambles at all. I'm not quite sure what people were expecting him to give away as "exclusive" tbh.
23. They are indeed massive cocks - the blokes in general, that is. I was inches from being glassed in a situation I had nothing to do with at all.
24. 178275 There's an hour to talk to him and Julie rings up and says "How are you enjoying the job, Glenn?"! Jesus H Christ! 178280
