1. I've still got toothache that's making my head feel like I've been smacked with a baseball bat. 2. You could tell that even with it ending at 0-0 everyone came out of the match happy and talking about individual players performances and the football the team had played. After being prodded in the gob with needles and metal instruments, I had a power-jet antiseptic hose down and then was informed I have to have antibiotics that are so strong they're almost illegal and I'd probably have to go and have the tooth dug out of my jaw-bone as it's growing the wrong way

I can't bear those quiz programmes. I've mentioned on here before that we occasionally end up watching them on nights and they drive me fucking spare. Can't remember which one it was, but the word was "Water _____ " and you had to guess the 2nd word. If I could have got my hands on the hundreds of people that phoned up one after the other to say "jug" and "melon" only to be repeatedly told it was wrong, I'd have punched them.
