I think he's probably quite a shy bloke but with a strong sense of responsibility. I don't care if he's got any charisma - he sounds like he actually relishes this job and really wants to do well. Good luck to him.

I'm not sure I even share a similar genetic make-up to the majority of blokes that I encountered that night, so I'm thankful I didn't pull.

I had the single worst night out in my entire life in CLS - what a fucking pile of shite. EDIT! And full of brain-dead, neanderthal wankers.

Bring it on, Copper-Bonce!

Can anyone remember The Amazing Mute on the SMB? Had a class avatar of a bloke with his mouth bound and would reply in perfectly serious threads just going "Mmmmf fmmmmf mmmmmfffffff". 177945 I'd forgotten about him. I laughed til I ached at his threads

The Top Club is probably the classiest WMC I've seen. 177972 we are obviously not talking about the Top Club in Throckley then............ There was one over Bedlington/Ashington way in a converted country house - did archery, golf 'naalll - a mate of mine was a member but I don't know if its till there 178037 Naa I'm talking South Sheels. Proper classy: 2 pool cue's (one with a nib). A bronze bin with black flowers painted on under almost every table so that when the mountain of ash in your ashtray is too high you can dispose of it without waiting for a potlad. A Bronze sign outside with ALL the letters remaining in tact. A pickled egg jar within it's sell by date. Posh as anything. 178060 I'm talking Usworth 178067 Rough is NOT the word

Looks class on that clip. I'm still gutted that I missed Shearers testimonial. Is it out on DVD or have I dreamt it?

I do believe you still need to read Harry Potter after declaring we wouldn't sign Owen.. 177745 Is it not enough that we DID sign Owen, Catherine? Must you force me to read those.......children's things!? 177763 They're children's books, Scott. It'll take you no time at all. You don't want to be seen to be backtracking now, do you? 177786 I really don't mind. If I read them I won't be able to come over all superior every time someone mentions them. 177790 And gawd forbid, you may even enjoy them

Did the sign say women weren't allowed to play snooker, or women can't play snooker. One is unfair, the other is a fact. 177788 Haw haw haw!!! I think it said "No women allowed on the snooker tables" which can be interpreted in any way you wish....

My dad used to take me to the North Biddick WMC when I was about 16. I don't remember there being a 'no women' rule in the bar as that's where we always sat, although looking back I don't recall there being any other lasses in there . I do remember that there was a big sign up saying women weren't allowed to play snooker though which I found pretty unfair. There were definitely no airs and graces and the place was always thick with smoke but the beer was cheap and it's where I learned to play pool. They had cracking Christmas parties for the kids an'all. Paul McCartney and Heather Mills popped in for a pint a couple of years ago too iirc..

It's more than most people are doing. Especially those who are taking the piss out of him.

I know there have been some instances in the past where people from some of the African nations do not actually know their exact date of birth as there was no formal records made of such but I didn't think this was the case in more recent times. It's all a bit mental that there is confusion over this kind of thing (age/nationality) these days...

I agree. Without getting all high and mighty about it it just feels wrong to make a video game which involves bullying. It's a big enough problem as it is without it getting positive endorsement in a video game.

We watched a whole series of Father Ted on the coach journey to Lourdes - topical if nothing else! The priest on board thought it was class

Take anti-inflammatories and keep it elevated. Might not be wise to drive if it's too painful.
