Fat girls you'd still *take out for a nice meal
catmag replied to Smooth Operator's topic in General Chat
I went to WW years ago and it's exactly like Fat Fighters on Little Britain. It's also a con cos I was half a stone heavier on WW scales than I was on any other scales in the whole world, and my 'target weight' was that of an 8-year old child. Having lost close to 3 stone in the last couple of years, I have curves that I'm starting to be very proud of. None of this stick-insect business like -
Awwww, how cute are they
-
From 2.30pm in the Trent sound okay?
-
catmag being hormonal tbh. 97550 Oh Daniel, you're so funny
-
Welcome to those that were born in the "30's"......... 97512 bit harsh that like! 97518 I wouldn't cross me today if I were you

Welcome to the "30's"......... 97512 I've been in them since last year!

Fucking hell Let that be a warning to everyone: please don't post anything from the papers unless you actually witnessed the incident first hand and can therefore confirm that it happened. 97510 Whatever. I'm just not sure what the point of your original post was, that's all. Was it that Liverpool fans are specifically low-life, or that Alan Smith has suffered a nasty leg injury? Or was it taking the piss out of injured players, acceptable or not? 97515 It was to highlight the fact there was a contingent of dickhead fans at the Liverpool vs Man Utd game yesterday. Is that okay with you?

It's my birthday this week. Far more important tbh

By me? Then yes it would. Accompanied by the fact I was disgusted and ashamed. Several times when I've been to Old Trafford I've seen a dickhead contingent of our fans doing the Munich aeroplane thing and thinking they're hilarious, and I was disgusted by that too. 97381 I could be wrong, but didn't you stand up for our rights to make light of terrorist attacks a few months ago? It was certainly debated after the London bombings. 97393 I assume you're referring to the debate between myself and AF regarding the 'jokes' thread on general chat where we were discussing the appropriateness of posting jokes following various tragedies. I believe my position on that (with 99% of fellow posters agreeing with me was that it's possible to smile at an inappropriate joke on a message board without actually condoning the actions of those carrying out the atrocities. Quite what it has to do with this thread, I'm not sure as I have never and would never partake in the kinds of behaviour that I have discussed in this thread.

Not quite, but I'll be sure to come and find you when it is!

I agree with the sentiment, although I think it's a bit harsh. The article is inciteful, and that hatred adds to the shite being sung in the stands. 97176 It happened, so it's being reported. There are other articles which do mention the fact he was applauded off. I just don't have time to trawl through every papers website and post the ferking lot of them to balance out my post. There were fans that delighted in chanting about a horrific injury - I think that's pretty shit and not something I would do. Therefore I thought I'd post it.

Not a manager story, but there's an Jonathan Woodgate interview in the Mail. He's being interviewed byyyyy............................. Bobby Robson! "Well, Jonathan, your hair's got long!"
-
Here! That's from the Sunday Mirror, but it's in the Mail aswell.
-
Okay, okay - I got my player wrong!!! It was more the chant I was referring to - you pedantic barrrstards!

Just reading in the paper this morning about a contingent of the Liverpool fans singing Reina's praises after the tackle with Smith which resulted in his horrible injury Along the lines of.. "Heyyyy Reina, I wanna know how you broke his leg" I know they maybe didn't realise the severity of the injury at the time but it's pretty sad Some of the pictures of Smith's ankle in the papers this morning are horrible. Hope it's not career-threatening

I thought he had a pretty quiet game yesterday, but to be fair, we'd be fucked without him this season.
-
Very strange to see him on the bench yesterday in his 'managerial role' I wonder if he had to buy an overcoat specially

I've been doing it for a long time. Started out with Ross Noble and Gavin Webster. I just don't have the drive to do it full time. Did get nominated for comedian of the year at the Leicester comedy festival in 2002 though. I just do gigs every couple of months now. I am old and like to spend time with my wife. 97143 Fair play to you. I think it must take some balls to get up on stage and do comedy. You should get the resident experts (Lou and Fish) to review your set at some point and see if you're any good
-
Well you already know my face, but I'll try and get into town in time for a drink after work Can we make it the Trent please cos it's closer to the ground - therefore more chance of me being able to get there before yous have to leave?
-
The Hitzfeld campaign was either subliminal, insignificantly small, or non-existent tonight. 97035 Having been overwhelmed by the presence of Hitzfeld propaganda at the game today, I think it's just been a figment of everyone's imagination
-
I'm glad he scored today and he looked like he really enjoyed it. Hopefully he managed without niggling the injury too as he definitely gave 100% effort.

Nice one! You should come to a pissup to celebrate - first round on you. 96469 I'll drive up - you can buy the beers! 96517 As long as Scunny are miles away, and you get me a ticket 96564 The majority of home games are on general sale right up til kick off these days Get yourselves up here for a game the pair of yous - we need to prove that you're not the same person.
