Not having a car means it doesn't affect me, but some of the peeps at work were talking about it today. If it's anything like the last fuel protest/blockade then it pays to be a nursey-type as some places ration their fuel and will only let you fill up your car if you produce ID showing that you're an employee of an emergency service. If anyone thinks they can pass for me then you can have my ID for a fee

Whilst I respect your opinion, Mr Fish, I don't think that having to give a cat an injection a couple of times a day is justification for getting rid of it as an alternative. If you had a kid that needed medication that you had to give them you wouldn't say "ohhh that's too much trouble. Send it back and get me a healthy one!" And before you tell me that's a ridiculous analogy too, some people's pets are as important to them as children. They're still a responsibility and a committment.

We were talking about this yesterday and there has to be something going wrong with the physio/medical team as no other club seems to have quite as many hamstring injuries as we get. I dunno what they're doing wrong but I think they need to have a serious look at their regimes.

What is this 'blood test place?' Can you not just have blood taken at your GP? 31449[/snapback] Not sure whether they've changed things: When I lived in Shields I had a blood test at my GPs about 15 years ago no problem. About 7 years ago after moving to Chelmsford I needed a series of tests and they just gave me a form to take to the local hospital each time as I think thats where the testing labs were - maybe that cuts out the middleman. 31452[/snapback] I know that you can have blood taken at the hospital but every GP surgery has a practice nurse and part of their role is to take blood. I've had to have it done a couple of times in the last couple of years and I've just made an appointment with the nurse.
