Are you sure it's not spinach?
  2. I reckon it's all lies. Genuinely tho, I'm going to struggle once the kids holidays kick in as I can't leave him home alone. Unless I take him with me I suppose.
  3. That's great news that she's doing well HMHM Must be a hell of a relief. Can't imagine what it must be like - I've never even had to take the bairn to the doctors, ever (other than vaccinations) Think I'd be useless if there was anything worryingly wrong with him.
  4. I did exactly the same mileage this morning. Hated every second of it
  5. CT, are you road running or on the treadmill? Did today's run at 7 this morning and didn't realise my village was so hilly Anyone opening their curtains at the Holiday Inn would have got a right eyeful.
  6. Thank you And thanks jonasjuice too.
  7. If I looked like that I wouldn't need to fucking run! Doing day 2 very early tomorrow morning so that no-one has to see it!
  8. I'd rather go to Sea World tbh, Gem
  9. Not at all. If we go to the Magic Kingdom it'll be primarily for the fireworks and parade anyway. Sounds like there's more than enough other stuff to keep us entertained, and it's not going to be all theme park stuff anyway. Like I said, all advice welcome.
  10. I've done day 1 btw. Go me! Still hate running
  11. No, he's a fireman/paramedic from Glossop who now lives in Tampa. But I'll send your regards
  12. The beauty of staying with friends is that I will be sneaking out with one or the other of them for the odd evening, so thanks Plus, the first thing the man of the house said was "Of course you can come and stay. It'll be nice to have someone to watch the footy with for once!" He's a Man Utd fan
  13. We will definitely be doing fireworks and parades. The couple I'm staying with actually got married in Cinderella's castle (I know, I know) Glass slippers, the lot
  14. Still can't believe you didn't tell me there was one in Belfast...
  15. I promise to take a pic of a Delorian for you
  16. Aye I can just see your tolerance coping with 4 boys under 6 Although saying that, you're probably on a level when it comes to this stuff..
  17. I've just Googled the Islands of Adventure and it has to go on the list. Spiderman+Hulk+Harry Potter will make me the best mam in the world I think.
  18. I'd love to do the space stuff myself so that's a good call actually, and he's a proper little geek (we do sit in the garden and point out planets etc) so he'd probably enjoy it.
  19. So yes I'm going and I've been asked the million dollar question by the friends I'm staying with: Tell us what you want to do cos for some things (eating at certain places etc) you have to book early (now) It's not somewhere I've ever been or thought I would go so other than Magic Kingdom and Universal I don't know anything about what's there or where to start when it comes to the parks/sights etc. We'll be based in Riverview, Tampa so just an hour from Orlando. The bairn will have just turned 6 when we go and my friends triplets will be 5, so tell me where I should go and what I should see. Obviously we will do the theme parks to an extent but I'd quite like to know about any other hidden gems around there. I envisage a lot of time around beaches and have family in Naples, FL and Treasure Island so we'll be heading to those places too. Any suggestions, advice, practical info or places to avoid welcome
