Aye, he was pure class. Top five Premier League player of all time no doubt about it. I wonder how much he would be worth in today's transfer fees ? 150 million ? -
Yes, sometimes decisions like pens are often one persons opinion but goals given when clearly offside ( or handball etc) those are game changers that will now not happen. The Forest game didn't cost us in the long run, but could you imagine if it did, if we finished 3rd and never went up ( if we went to the play offs no way in hell would we have won that ) we would be bitter and harp on about it for years (Trelford Mills style) It will take them a while to speed up VAR and tweek it here and there, also the fans in the ground will have to be a lot more informed as the stops we often dampen the atmosphere, but for me it's a good thing. I'd say even now at it's early days VAR gets 99% of calls correct
-
I disagree, we might actually get some decisions in our favour. How many penalties should we have had over the years ? What about unfair sending's off against us ? ( the two against Forrest spring to mind ) We are always moaning our tits off when we don't pens etc maybe we might actually get some correct ones our way ?
-
The only thing that's letting VAR down is the time it's taken, as every decision made by VAR was right.

VAR Liverpool v Wba is making VAR history. Ilst Wba get a goal tightly chalked off then give Liverpool a pen. 3min delayed Pen miss haha Shot put

I never heard of Jorgenson before we were interested tbh. Looking at his goals, lots of tap ins or easy headers, so what, isn't that a forward being in the right position ? £20 million and £50 grand per week is a shit load of money to me, but not to the Premier League, it's the going rate. I'll not slag him off just yet, i made the mistake of slagging off a forward we just bought a while ago as he scored lots of "tap ins" at a lower level. Andy Cole was the fella's name -

I hardly ever go to matches anymore, i never used to miss home and away in the 80s I don't miss going to the match that much these days I don't want to go to hear some tossa telling me to sit down, or stop swearing ffs or some jobs worth steward telling me to calm down after a goal. Money has fucked the game. I had a look at my local playing fields, dodgy bumpy crap pitches with bent crossbars and dog shit all over the place. nee wonder we have no young lads coming through. Then i read that Pogba is demanding £400,000 a fucking week !!! https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/paul-pogba-demand-manchester-united-11888612 The 80s had its bad points, we all know what they were. But I'd take that over the shit money grabbing PC bollocks that is modern football anyday.
