desperate for ashley's club to get relegated. then relegated again, then again, then again. it's what he and all those who have actively and financially supported his running of it deserve. -

ian wright absolutely nailed it last night. they just don't care enough. corruption and a dismissal of what's right or wrong is endemic in football, not just fifa. -
is that a young liza minnelli? I do wonder at times about the folk who go to sjp, be they the ones who pay ashley or the ones who are happy enough to be a backdrop for his grotesque advertising hoardings as to just what it would take for them to throw in the towel? was keegan for me, fucking idolised (not in a sexy way) the bloke both as a player and a manager, as well as a principled man. been lucky enough to speak to him at length on several occasions including when he unveiled the memorial for the stanley pit disaster. the absolute dictionary perfect description of 'antithesis' to bruce. ashley treated him like scum. I know you're not a stupid person so you don't need me to list ashley's 14 year old and continuing contempt for the club, city and people of newcastle. me, I'm utterly convinced that if ashley dug up their dead mother and fucked her in the center circle just before kick off we'd have lunatics amongst our support stating 'well ashley's still not gonna stop me going to the match' as if it was a badge of honour. bizarre really.

must be climate change. when I used to live up home I'd go looking for mushrooms in mid october, although sometimes you'd find them on waskerley moors a bit earlier.

wasn't me. -
I paid the best part of £700 for a kayak on friday afternoon and spent a few hours paddling round talybont reservoir in the brecon beacons yesterday afternoon. fair to say I made the right choice too, well apart from the bit where I got out the water to listen to that shite on radio newcastle.

nufc.com reporting the attendance as 44,000 yesterday, (oddly the bbc, sky sports, nufc.co.uk not giving one at all) only 2 home league games in and we're already nearing the point where lee and brucey can claim they're gonna reward the people of newcastle with 10,000 free tickets.

I'd imagine there's a reasonable chance the big, big, huge 6 are currently instructing masters that project big picture is going ahead and they'll be using their superior voting rights to ensure arsenal are exempt from relegation. -
@Kitman @RobinRobin here you go, although quite why you'd want read it is a mystery! think the bbc had hid it away to spare the wider football community. more interesting is to click on the comments section, second one down is from a leeds supporter, quite why he can see it but not 30,000 of our own is again a mystery, except a bigger one...... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58239479

I've spoken to quite a few who have, although I'd concede I've not went out me to conduct a straw poll on the actual numbers! I was basing an opinion more on the many reports of people who'd took part in relatively insipid protests like the 11th minute walk in for the west ham game less than 3 years ago or handing out leaflets outside the ground. in both cases having been given dogs abuse for doing so. anyway, whatever the numbers are in each camp/stance our support is indisputably fractured to fucking buggery and has been unable to conduct a collective stand against a man who's clearly a vindictive parasite and has been for 14 years very sad.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by hung up? I think our support is fractured, possibly to the point of it being beyond repair, but I hope not. we've got thousands who probably share my views and who've walked away. we've got thousands who probably share my views but remain. we've got thousands who probably think mike ashley is doing a good job and saved us from financial oblivion. we've got thousands who've jumped on the opportunity for a free ticket to provide a backdrop for keith bishop's crisis management pr exercise. we've got thousands who tolerate steve bruce. we're all co-exsisting but it's not particularly harmonious or even healthy is it? I feel angry, bitter, resentful but mostly saddened that ashley has managed to achieve this. does that mean hung up? I've no love for leeds united but I quite enjoyed reading this article on the bbc the other day... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58294478 as it stands we've had 14 years of ashley's football purgatory with no real sign it's about to end any time soon and if I held my hand on my heart I'd rather we replicated leeds and ashley lose tens of millions on his version of nufc then profit by even by more by selling to the saudis. it's what he deserves. we'd bounce back as leeds have and maybe then like them our support would be united and have some hope? it's fucking tragic.

in fairness to michael martin he's wrote some cracking articles on the state of ashley's abomination of nufc during the last 14 years. sadly, at least in my opinion, he's then completely invalidated the time and effort he's put in to doing so by handing over his money to him for a season ticket. still, at least it's better than this drivel from one of his co-writers.... https://true-faith.co.uk/steve-bruces-position-at-newcastle-united-yes-man-good-or-bad/
