  1. we're all suffering from 'emotional confirmation bias' if you can be arsed to read this shite from luke edwards.... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/08/19/steve-bruce-has-impossible-job-trying-change-closed-minds/
  2. don't recall seeing rumours of any other club being interested in signing him. there appears to be absolutely no reason why we would have to pay anymore for him than we did for mitrovic, or even what fulham subsequently paid us for the serbian. dodgy as fuck i reckon!
  3. channel 5 tonight, sp**ts di**ct: secrets of the mega sports factory. just in case you're feeling masochistic and need to further your reasons to detest the repulsive fat cunt!
  4. remember putting 7 past spurs and keegan being gutted on gerry francis's behalf? seems like a fucking life time a go.
  5. if spurs can't be arsed, liverpool will beat man city to handing out the absolute mullering.
  6. gutted for you. think you'll either need to be someone who's very philosophical about humiliation or have a very good sense of humour!
  7. next up, a nice day out at tottenham. we'll definitely get nil. be rock bottom. and the potential is very much there to be on a minus double figures goal difference unless the spurs players get bored.
  8. we're gonna have to get to a cup final for a 'nice day out' looking like they'll be in short supply in the league brucey.
  9. £40m my fucking arse. has to be the most bizarre and suspect transfer fee ever, with apparently no competition for his signature whatsoever.
  10. as a slight aside. norwich run out to and end with 'parklife' i hate both blur and phil daniels with a passion. for this i hope norwich are relegated too.
  11. aye, my bad above. mid table next week when boyhood club bruce oversees an emphatic humping of tottenham.
  12. 2-0 defeat. hometown brucey to state we can't possibly compete with the financial might of the norfolk based cookery magnate and former swapshop presenter. whats more, norwich has a lot of middle class kids who've had a good education.
  13. new here so not au fait with folks historic posts. i would say though that ugly mackems was spot on with the 'shoes off pogoing idiots' right up there with police horse boxing as a low point in newcastle supporters history!
  14. sounds like he's right up there with world's greatest philosophers that lad.
  15. i'd put him on not much better than a par with carver as well mate. however it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if bruce did feature quite prominently on this apparent list. he was certainly more likely to be interested in the job than mourinho. bit like offering a fiver for messi!
  16. wouldn't surprise me in the slighest if bruce had topped the list. i mean how can the collective footballing super brains of ashley, charnley, barnes and bishop possibly get anything wrong?
  17. i reckon steve 'hometown club' bruce will be a visibly broken man by the end of september. fully expect to be bottom of the league, out of a cup and been on the recieving end of at least two utter maulings by then. no sympathy for the cunt whatsoever, on the contrary, will delight in watching him unravel.
  18. started singing from bishop's pr hymn sheet the second ashley's helicopter took off from the training ground. he's an incompetent, morally bankrupt, complicit, fat cunt. fuck the 'life long newcastle supporting' twat.
  19. everything about what was newcastle united reeks of sports direct and has done for fucking years, it shows no signs of abating, the club will decline in direct parallel to his tatty shops be it his second rate sports stuff or what was house of fraser. remember '09 and sportsdirect.com @ St James' Park Stadium? the reality was, still is and always will be St James' Park Stadium @ sportsdirect.com, we're a subsidiary, nothing more, nothing less. he will run it in to the ground, just like he will run his tat shops in to the ground because he's too stubborn and too much of a bully to accept he might just be doing something wrong, he doesn't give a fuck about who he'll take down with him along the way. hope the cunt falls in to giant paper shredder.
  20. i think the quote at the end is equally as poignant... " what would an 18-year-old Newcastle supporter think about his club now?" tragically they've been well and truly programmed to believe we're unable to compete with behemoths of english football such as bournemouth, watford, southampton etc, we're in our rightful place. what's more tragic is the parents/grandparents who funded their newcastle childhood and who themselves experienced the club as it could be, continue to fund ashley and ensure that this generation will never see a competitive club or get the opportunity to see us play in some of the finest cities and stadiums in europe.
  21. aye, and by god i hope he does. i asked some loaded questions to keegan from the audience at a talk in to promote his new book at the back end of last year and felt he was quite guarded in his answers. i queued for an eternity at the book signing and again tried plying him for more information, very amiable but again there was reluctance to go in to depth regarding ashley so i don't doubt there's credence in disclosure rumours following his constructive dismissal case. i'd be surprised if they had any real powers to gag benitez and from what was, to me at least, a rather disappointing official statement when he left , i'd imagine the more they try to tarnish his reputation the more he'll come out fighting. could get entertaining. you'd think they'd be loathe to do that, however recent history suggests the majority of our current match day supporters are brain dead, moronic halfwits and he has a whole host subservient pundits and media outlets as well as the local press on his side. it's obviously a battle ashley is confident of winning.
  22. complete and utter waste of the best part of 2GB of internet data. stream was reasonably stable considering im the best part of 8 mile from a reasonable sized town. nowt else worth comnenting on as a spectacle.
