Fickle nature of life. You're drawn to good looking people it's a major advantage, than someone turning up who's minging using the same techniques. Human nature. Agreed 100% and I made a similar point earlier in the thread. I spose what I mean is that's pretty much all there is to her though and it's a bit of a shame. If there was any actual business acumen allied to her good looks she'd be formidable. I actually think your Laura has sharper business insincts for instance (though as I said before she's still overly juvenile). Not to say Liz is completely vacuous like, I credit her with common sense at least and all too often that's in alarmingly short supply on the Apprentice. she's confident and articulate too though (edit - without being arrogant and obnoxious like lots of the others). she's been way better than most of the others - that's not all down to the fact that she'd get it. She's confident like (again an asset) but I don't think I'd highlight her articulacy per se particularly. Stella is way better for instance. Thinking with your middle wicket iyam, not that I blame you at all.

Has LAS used his catchphrase "cheap tut" this series yet? Haven't noticed it and am a bit disappointed as a consequence.

True enough and I'm not complaining tbf.

Taylor's average at his very best tbf. Nobody would be daft enough to say he deserved lamping off Carroll and most would assume Carroll was bang out of order (as per usual) and theres nee excuse at all. It does sort of typify an essential difference between them both though; you can tell Carroll knows that words mean nowt and it's actions that count. Taylor on the other hand falls way short in his actions (on the pitch) and constantly tries to compensate for it by talking a good game (very often after a defeat), playing the local boy card and being last man on the pitch all the while. It only serves to aggravate because the fans know all that counts for sweet FA when push comes to shove.

At the risk of stating the obvious, Liz's success in most sales negotiations is mainly down to how bonny she is. It gets her so far but I'm not actually struck by any major flair for business beyond that.

The second Fish compared him with Guthrie I was reminded instantly that Dave has never actually kicked a football in his life.

It will be a reason to stop watching if she goes. I think she's mint, everything about her. Felt sorry for the dipper tonight, but Sugar was right, nice guys get no where in business. Other than Parky of course. I agree with Sammy, Stella is the favourite now she's articulate, single minded and hasn't really put a foot wrong. I thought it was a risk taking the big appointment off Laura and that fat faced cheeky mongo which could've back fired like but fair play. She fuckin hates Stuart though, the amount of dirty looks he gets off her in any episode is amusing. What ever happens as long as "Chris" doesn't win, I'll be pleased, I get the impression he's Sralan's favourite. Should call him tefal, cos fuck all sticks to him, he's been in the last three loads of times. Can't knock your loyalty tbf Stevie. I reckon she'd be a cracking girlfriend like as she's a right little madam and I can't help myself for that type. She's been dreadful on the tasks though.

This post is dry humour gold and deserves far greater recognition. I haven't got enough self confidence to believe I actually get the joke. My unhappiness compounded by the fact I don't know which smilie is appropriate to illustrate my self doubt and confusion What's not to get though? It's preceeded by Rob trying to be as offensive as all of his considerable arrogance can muster, obviously looking to bait the Irish lads, and all he gets back is Ewerk pretending he can see through his subtlety. Graham Linehan would be proud of it and I can't really think of a much higher compliment tbf.

I'm starting to like Stella best tbh. Seems to play a straight bat, isn't ridiculously bitchy (for a female), takes clear decisions on her terms (again unusual for a female as female PM's almost without exception try to make all decision making to appear joint because of the inherent risk) and also has a bit of substance about her. Glad that Christopher went even though it wasn't his really his fault this one failed. He's just a bit of a cock. Stevie's favourite Laura has to go soon I'm afraid. She's not the most offensive by any means but she has at least one juvenile strop every week and it makes her look a twat.

Mourinho as Hughton's new number 2 would be acceptable.

Spot on. And rightly so tbh. Players were bouncing off him in his first season here, they couldn't cope with him physically and how often can you say that in the Prem about players in their teens/just turned twenty? They're usually weak as water. Rooney being the notable exception.

Aye, no I know he went there for mega money (in terms of transfer fee) and they're the last club to be giving players away now what with having to service the debt, but if it's only PK that are also in for him, that'll be what sets the tone for any transfer fee negotiations and I don't think they're amongst Europe's top spenders so we might have a chance there. Also I reckon in our favour I think he realises he's tailor made for the English game, physically. I'd question why anyone with any ambition would want to play in Greece too aside from their European games. Big big if though and tbh if he was listed I can't imagine it'd just be us and PK in for him so what I've said would probably be academic. More to the point if there is any truth to the rumour he's unsettled, I think Fergie will be puling out all the stops to keep hold of him prior to January and that'll be the far more telling thing. Was reading how you rated him (above) and tbh from everything I've ever heard from Fergie he thinks exactly the same.

In my book one of the very, very few exceptions to the general rule that you should never buy a player off Man Utd. Isn't a club instituition (Butt) and isn't tried and failed amongst top colleagues (Smith). His injury record is a bit of a worry, but if there was any truth in the rumour I would like to see us go in and make him a respectable offer. I think he'd be at least tempted by the fact he'd be given more responsibilities straight away (he'd make himself pivotal quite quickly) and also by Hughton (quite frankly). Unlikely, but if there was a remote chance I'd like to see the club go for it. He's football first and there's fewer committed players on the park most weekends of the season and that's the sort of player I think we need to continue to look to bring here.

Uuuurghh! I've just spunked. EVERYWHERE. "Beware of the two B's buzzing together, beware of the bird with the brown feather." Christopher Biggins trying not to act like a sexual pervert on 4.29 onwards. 1981?

Nicely romanticised . The challenges I'm talking about are simply a case of not needing to be made. They're not a feature of his game, and it's not even poor judgement on making challenges. These are legs that are left out with the express intent of stopping someone. These have a place in the game and can be important in breaking up the oppositions attack, but in these cases they're in very silly positions when the other team are going nowhere. He can eliminate them from his game. If he doesn't he'll pick up yellows in more than every other game. We can't afford to be routinely missing a player like him given the difference he makes simply because of lack of discipline. Proportionately the bad tackles are tiny but because he makes a truly massive number of challenges they'll never be entirely erradicated. it's unrealistic to think so. A contact sport, let the neighbours talk.
