  1. To take a more Gemmill slant on it, I'm honestly not surprised that Corbyn isn't cartwheeling into these things now. He was always winning before but now he looks like he should be doing it with a tab in one hand and doing an observational comedy routine at the end of it.
  2. They got one as well ffs. Unfortunately for them, it's Man City
  3. May's Mexican wave summed up that second half really. The state of our defence whenever Mbappe and Dembele were running at them, man. They were pacey and direct and it meant that our one-paced knackers had no clue how to deal with them. Compare them to Sterling whose passing in the final third, that backheel aside, was absolutely shocking. Not to mention how much time he wanted.
  4. Just mirrored up my thoughts well on it tbh and I'm a lazy man
  5. Can half see why Gouffran might get another year since I imagine he'll be used as a late sub/desperate cover and still has a bit of strength and pace about him. In a team that is looking to sign a right-back and a central midfielder, no way do I keep Anita
  6. Just been thinking about that, funnily enough. Trying to follow every potential outcome this morning is an absolute shit show
  7. I justify his opinions on the EU by thinking about the fact the Tories are going to cut off our public services bit by bit, send kids to school starving and let people die on hospital wards and voting justly.
  8. Berbatov and Dzeko have, I'm sure
  9. Never even considered Amazon for drink and have just found some Four Roses Small Batch for £31. It's like being in B&M Bargains
  10. Tories are confident of taking Boro apparently. At some point, people are just beyond help
  11. Biggest indicator we've seen yet that Wolfy is a mentalist
  12. Or it may have been us playing Bradford away in pre-season That's his one chance done.
  13. Too fucking right. Staring down the barrel of a transparently evil Tory government, seemingly hell bent on dragging 90% of the country through the shit and people are still in two minds over it because Corbyn said something 2 years ago. Wish I was that sheltered from it all tbh
  14. Still very strange news to process, this and it's a massive shame. As a player, he had his critics but fuck me, you really noticed when he wasn't there. An absolute tank of a player on his day. There's no knocking Pardew for what he's said too; the bloke seemed very well liked. RIP.
  15. My mate's company handles our official e-mail marketing and they cancelled a meeting on Thursday since they were busy finalising paperwork for a communication to be sent out tomorrow so someone may well be announced then. Either that or they're showing off the new away kit.
  16. Climate change is going to irrevocably change everything within 15-20 years. Nuclear warfare should be the last thing on any progressive societies mind which explains why our knuckle draggers are so obsessed with it. As for it being a deterrent, in 15 years, the United Kingdom just isn't going to matter on a world stage. China and India will eventually become the super powers and we'll be some backwater shit tip island that only pops up every now and then to enter something shit into Eurovision.
  17. So, what? Water levels are rising for a laugh?
  18. They literally wanted to hear him condone the mass genocide of millions with a nuclear device though, it was total bloodlust borne from God knows what. They didn't care who, they just wanted to hear that the UK would take first action because...they wish it was 1944?
  19. This country is tragic, mind. Middle aged dickheads desperately clinging onto strands of individualistic, patriotic bullshit in a vain attempt to take out their anger over their wasted lives. The world will leave us behind and rightfully so.
  20. All of the things wrong at home and these chinless racists just want to hear about how quickly we could blow somebody up for a laugh. We're fucked
  21. When Gayle was out, he couldn't keep Murphy out of the team, man. Ironically, the one thing I've been impressed with him at doing this (last) season was keeping his cool in the box to set people up but there's times where he just completely lacks the instinct to get into positions in and around the 6 yard box and there's been entire 90 minutes where I've sat and watched him lose every header to centre halves. Convince someone he's worth what he paid and invest the money in a proper target man IMO.
  22. This is where I fall on it. You vote on the left side of the spectrum or you're basically admitting that you couldn't care less about the less fortunate in this country getting forced further and further into the shittest lives possible. For all the talk about how it's so interesting to look at seats, polls and leadership campaigns, this is an election based around the fundamentals of living in this country. Wages, safety nets, public services and your loved ones in situations where they need all of those. It's hard not to look at anyone who is aware of those things and votes for the Tories as beneath contempt tbh.
