The Toontastic elite hath spoken. Next there'll be a campaign to bring back the hat.

Best Newcastle game of the calendar year
Ayatollah Hermione replied to dbsweeney's topic in Newcastle Forum
Like Highlander, there can be only one. But the week of beating the mackems and then Arsenal was amazing. First time I really felt we could do well under Hughton -
I was until his latest change of name. Attention whore. I'm trying to prove there's a man behind the hat. Like when Radiohead released Creep and it was shit but used the money to make The Bends; I'm in that phase so I should get really good in a year or two. Watch out Monkey.

They should have had him advertising those hats in the programme tbh.

There was a Bolton game around that time but it was Keegan's first league game back IIRC

Who is your favourite non-newcastle player
Ayatollah Hermione replied to Holden McGroin's topic in Newcastle Forum
Current: Messi Retired: Zola/Fat Ronaldo As a kid, I wanted to play like a mix between the two of them. I was ambitious at least. -
Parky couldn't organise an assassination on a grassy knoll tbh

I remember asking why Rudolph didn't eat all of his carrot one year and my dad said he thought it was a disgrace and he'd be complaining to santa in person
-
I'm going for a drink tomorrow like but I'll be back in time to watch Die Hard like I do every year.

How you eavesdropped on one of Leazes' conversations? Serious answer it's a palindrome

When you snap your fingers, the sound is not of your fingers snapping but your middle finger slapping against your hand.

Cheers for that, the default one is a bit shit really, can see the improvements already. Any other good apps? I've got a one that tells you what's going on in your area,, got the stuff like the Barcode Scanners and Evernote, just wondering if there's owt that isn't as widely known that's good to have.

Just got me HD Desire and I'm fairly sure some of it runs on magic; Google Goggles is fucking mental, you scan something and it identifies it and runs a google search on it. Got Dropbox running on it to make transferring files easy as well some other essentials (Angry Birds basically). Also, will I lose my eyesight reading War and Peace on the ebook reader by the end of it?

Can't recommend Into the Wild enough. Watched it the other week and it's class.

An affliction that's sadly slept on.

The Carroll who wasn't a spot on the arse of the PL at that point? What a shite-talking little arsehole he is.

Too rights. KoL have never wrote a song as good as Heart in a Cage, nevermind a song as good as Reptilia.

We were in a pub the other week where they were playing all of the new album and 3 or 4 songs had went by before I noticed it was a different song. Bland, focus-tested rubbish. As someone on Twitter put it; "Every generation gets the Goo Goo Dolls they deserve"

Iggy and the Stooges headlining whch already pulls it up above last year's indie dance shit fest. Plan B is doing the Sunday if that's your cup of tea. Tinie Tempah - Two Door Cinema Club Caribou - Annie Mac Detroit Social Club - Fenech Soler have just been announced and Caribou is pretty great and I've heard good things about Two Door Cinema Club. Detroit Social Club are taking the Field Music place of "local band" now, I think. They're alright though. Looks like it should be worth your money more than last year's anyway, as long as you don't mind a bunch of 17 year olds pretending to be drunk.

Not Frank Worthington or someone like that is it? He was often labelled "the best footballer you ever saw". Played for Reading and Cardiff I think. Absolutely no idea tbh. First names a bird you see at christmas, surname is an enjoyable day of the week. I bet if I looked it up I still wouldn't know who he is. I only know as he was on Football Focus a few month back. Not on the actual sofa, though. I think him and Lawro are still at "loggerheads", so to speak. Wiki says he died in 1990 aged 38? Lawro is bang out of order if he's exhuming corpses for an argument. Only way he'll manage to win. And the only way he'll not be the worst looking one on the sofa.

Barton and Ben Arfa on the flanks with Tiote in the middle is the beginings of a midfield that could prove to be very successful so of course, we've got to sell one of them. No other owner is this self-destructive.
