Where are you watching the coverage? Is it being televised? Might have to sack graft off sharp if it is. FIFA.com and BBC have them on, I think.

Our video should be Shearer's volley against Everton on repeat.

Which defensive partnership would you like to see?

For the time being, Taylor and Campbell have started well so give them a run in the side for a bit. If they continue over the next two games, it'd be unfair to drop one of them for Williamson and Coloccini. I think the best partnership we have will be Coloccini/Campbell post January though as I don't think Taylor will be here much longer. -

fucking shit cgi for a high concept film as well tbh. roland emmerich's obsession with disaster movies is becoming a bit tedious now There arent any more disasters left to do really. Isn't he trying to get a sequel to Independence day off the ground?? The North East Snow Disaster of 2010 could be a good one. -
I'm single handedly keeping the Virgos in with a fighting chance.

Trying far too hard to be offensive rather than funny. That Knight Rider skit was torture. -
What's number 3 even came as? Looks like Desperate Dan.

See much of Santos in 1962 like? -
Nasty. I dont know if anyone saw the beeb yesterday but they were up in rothbury (i think) an the cameras caught a rof snow slide that took out about 4 oap's. They dragged one little old lady up from a pile of snow, dusted her down and off she went. Really funny. Have seen it happen once before in real life as well. The ghost of Moat strikes again.

He'd have kept the score down to 4-0 tonight. -
Barca's fourth goal was so good it made me say "Fucking hell" out loud. Liquid football and I could have watched it all tonight.

That sums Lawrenson up, a saggy necked wife beater from Gosforth. I had it on like but was seeing 3 tellies, he could've said Jackie Milburn was man of the match and I wouldn't have noticed. I wish he'd get some shirts that fit him since that bothers me the most. He's like 10 pound of shite in a 5 pound bag.

The GoNorthEast Facebook page is giving out info on bus stoppages if you 'like' them. -
Grimsby, that was it. What a prize twat that centre half was as well. Whittle, I think he was called, looking at the BBC report for the game. I can't see his name in any World Defender of the Year shortlists though so I could be wrong.

I assumed that it was because of the following match, with him having both Newcastle and Liverpool connections and Poyet having Chelsea and Spurs connections. Ah right, I didn't know that was the case. I thought Spurs/Liverpool was on ESPN. Has there been anything made about Ashley Cole kicking Shola in the arse? It seemed that way from where I was sitting.
-
Their manager was a smug scouse arsehole too iirc, loved the sound of his own voice and was never off SSN in the build-up and between the first game and the replay. He became Sky's 'expert' for a while, sitting on Richard Keyes knee whenever they did a prem vs. non-league cup tie, hoping for a giant-killing. I think Stevenage got rid of him after a while and he disappeared. Wasn't the first game Shearer's return after a long lay-off with the ankle injury? Aye. One of their centre backs was in The Sun saying they were going to give his ankle a good kicking, put it back in plaster etc. Shearer took it on the chin, swapped and signed his shirt for him at the first match and then on the Monday the same player was back in the press calling Big Al worse than shite I hope we tonk the fuckers. Shearer always used to get that shite when we played the lower league clubs. Was it Hull we played when their centre-half was kicking him to bits so he responded by just being a 100% better footballer?
-
The fact they chose Souness as the "Newcastle" pundit says it all about what light Sky want to shine on us.
-
Aye, I was laughing at that yesterday, so relieved we didn't get him. You could see the rest of his team starting to get more and more pissed off. That one he skied was awful like. The bicycle kick was the worst. He had time to bring it down and place it.

It's fucking baltic out there. Let's hope Tim Krul doesn't lick the goalpost.

The Kanye album is ridiculously great. It's got more ideas in some songs that most artists have over entire albums. If we're talking hip-hop, these are worth listening to IMO: Kno - Death is Silent Big Boi - Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty Nas and Damien Marley - Distant Relatives (Could be more reggae than rap though) Currensy - Pilot Talk 1+2 Janelle Monae - The Archandroid (More RnB than rap again but the range it covers is immense) The Roots -How I Got Over Those more into the hip-hop scene can probably recommened better than I could. Innerspeaker by Tame Impala and Swim by Caribou are both excellent as well. I Learned The Hard Way by Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings is a great soul album with a fantastic singer.
