The kid playing both twins that "inspired" the joker in the Gothamverse was fucking spectacular IMO. It's a shame they didn't give him the nod in the Pattinson version of Batman - he'd pretty much be the right age for it to make sense. He might actually be my favourite screen version(s) of the joker, even though he isn't really the joker. People were still fawning over Ledger at that point, and he managed to do a more comic accurate version of the character and not be completely shit at it.

You clearly are not an expert in emails. There is a defined process for actually responding to emails: 1) Check if you're in the to or CC section - if it's the latter then it goes immediately in the bin. If not then; 2) Mark as read - if it's important then pick the phone up. 3) Ignore the reminders - again, it's obviously not important enough to ring. 4) Wait months before doing some housekeeping on your inbox. See the email and repeated reminders and; 5) Delete them. All of the above doesn't cover the repeated phone calls you must ignore from the person or people chasing up on this extremely important request because, if it was that important they'd come through to the office and ask you face to face.

The problem is, he had an hour in which Gordon quite often occupied two or three defenders creating a shit load of space and did absolutely nothing. It's pointless having him on the pitch if he's not doing the one thing he does well - threatening goal. You may as well have Miggy and Murphy on the pitch doing absolutely fuck all in the final third but stretching their defenders to bits. I completely understood the logic in taking him off as he was playing shite IMO, however at that point I'd probably have hooked Murphy for Osula as well and put Gordon out left. For me, it would have made more sense having a big lump up top who is also insanely quick - Tarkowski and the other slouch would have no doubt threw a few more dodgy tackles in and won us some dangerous free kicks, maybe a red card and perhaps another stonewall pen (that someone else could have actually scored).

In fairness his exact words were "they won't win". His grace appears to be accepting that he's a draw merchant. What a fucking insanely weird start to the season we've had. We've gone from playing shit and winning to playing better and being held to draws. I can't wait for the flurry of thread starters after we start fucking battering teams and getting beat 1-0 every time.

Comparing an inconsequential game in the PL to the CL final. Suggesting Karius got plaudits for his performance that night - otherwise why else use it as an example? That performance arguably ruined Karius’ career because of the insane backlash he got. Literally, the only thing that is similar is that the criticism the goalie got despite his concussion was just as OTT as the responses of some on here towards Gordon yesterday.

He was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch for me. I don’t think he should have taken the penalty in hindsight, and he should have done better with that 1v1 but the header he had to knock back as he was ahead of the ball. I attribute the performance to the absolute dreadful control of possession. Trips first half tried the same shit pass at least three times and gave the ball away each time. Tonali was woeful second half and constantly conceded possession. Yet despite that we dominated and couldn’t win.

Also, we all know Ashworth's pick is Southgate so I imagine they put the topic up for discussion during a board meeting after they stopped pissing themselves laughing.

tbf if Sir Bobby was still kicking around I'd take his input on a new toon manager over someone like Dan Ashworth.
