  1. Maybe we should hire ourselves out to the selling clubs. ”Need a buyer for your top players? Bring in the mugs at NUFC to flush them out! They’ll be paying top dollar for your strikers in no time!”
  2. Looks a brilliant signing for Man City in two weeks after we lowball Porto for a week and a half.
  3. Cunt to pack of cunts, here we go! Enjoy losing at home to Bournemouth and Brentford!
  4. Cartel clubs helping one another out again. Garnacho is clearly not a top-level player and not worth anything close to 40m. Chelsea have been after Xavi Simons the whole summer, they have no need for someone with a third of his ability. But Man U need to be rescued so here come their wink-wink “rivals” to bail them out.
  5. They flagrantly can’t, but they can’t lose out to us either, so they have to go to the hilt on this one. At least we’ll have hurt them. Same reason we can’t buy Jackson or Hojlund under any circumstances. We cannot strengthen these cheats by buying their castoffs and allowing them to spend even more to take our targets. If we’re buying, it needs to be from lower PL clubs (ex. Van Hecke, Guehi) or from abroad.
  6. We unironically should do this. They don’t have the money and it costs us nothing to drive the price up. If in the end Leipzig are “forced” to sell him to us, we got our man. If he turns us down, we’ve priced Man U out of getting him, at least temporarily.
  7. Ideally we’d have one person remain in negotiations with Leipzig, who would be thrilled with a bidding war, while the rest of the team move on to Kolo Muani, etc. of course the “team” is Howe’s nephew, a bobble head and a wheelie bin so there’s logistical problems with that, but that apparently can’t be helped.
  8. Disagree, we need to stay in this to the bitter end and make Man U overpay money they don’t have. They can’t pull out now that the media have bigged this up so much. That would be seen as confirmation of their terminal decline, that players are now picking NUFC over them. They need to go all in.
  9. Considering the BBC live feed is wall-to-wall Sesko to Man U this morning, I don't think you're wide of the mark. Personally I think the lad would have to be mental to go to them. Mbuemo and Cunha were both moving up in the world when they took the Manc money. But as to Sesko, we can offer the CL and Man U can't, and there's no guarantee they'll be able to next season. If he fancies losing at home to Bournemouth and getting booed off the pitch alongside such luminaries of continental football as Zirkzee, Hojlund, Onana and Dorgu, he can be my guest. Here, he can be the main man, establish himself as a top PL striker, and then (looking at the Isak saga) get his "dream move" to Madrid or whoever once the time is right.
  10. There is a man who can't be sacked, knows it, and has had quite enough of his "boss's" bullshit.
  11. Top player I've been talking about for weeks. If we've been "informed on deal costs" as per the workey-ticket quoted above then we know what Leipzig are asking. If this is a serious club, we meet the asking price immediately, turn to Isak, and go "what'll it be bonny lad?" If he stays, fantastic, we've got two of Europe's great young strikers. If he goes, we've got his replacement. But if this isn't a serious club, we fanny about for two weeks trying to undercut them by 15m and our rivals continue to steal a march on us. Time to find out which we are.
  12. If he goes, he goes. We need to show we're going about this in the right way, though. How we handle it will show how fucked we are at the club level. 1. We should not sell to a domestic rival. 2. If we have to, it should be for a fee approaching 150m or higher. 3. If it isn't, it should be cash up front. Absolutely no part-exchange deals. The buying club should have to suffer the PSR implications, we shouldn't help bail them out. 4. We should have 2 replacements in for him before letting him go, so we don't get fully put over a barrel by the selling clubs. Sesko is my pick; Wissa will do nicely as a Wilson replacement. If it's to Liverpool for 100m or something pathetic like that, we'll know for certain we are not heading in the direction we were led to believe.
  13. Sky reporting Trafford’s buyback clause is 40m, I don’t think we were offering that. City apparently want to pay less than that. I don’t think and never thought Ekitike was ever interested in coming here, either this week or last time his agent jerked us around. So I’m not too bothered about that. Wissa has probably gone ice cold now that Mbuemo is off to Man U. I reckon Sesko should be next on our list. If Ekitike was worth 70m than Sesko surely is.
  14. Gotta confess, I thought old faithful here might've popped its clogs for good and all ye owld feckers had buggered off to Discord permanently.
  15. We finally found the thread where Stevie was right about something! …Artur Boruc really was a heap of shit, wasn’t he?
  16. Gave us the “here we go” with Joao Pedro himself a few years back, which was the day I stopped believing a word he says.
  17. If either of them were playing us there'd be lads in bandages and on crutches in the starting XI, and not a word about this rotation shit.
  18. Caicedo has diplomatic immunity it seems. Desperate game but the result is a resounding one. I think we're pretty much high and dry now. Chelsea can fuck all the way off btw, a team assembled with $2 billion can't possibly be as bad and thuggish as they are.
  19. Let me preface by saying I don't give a fuck who else gets CL as long as we do, but it would be glorious if Forest beat Chelsea, causing them to miss out on the Europe money and beginning a Leeds-style tailspin, fire sale, relegation, and utter oblivion in the Championship. I realize the vested powers in the PL will never allow that to happen, but it's a nice dream. Of all the "moneyed 6" they are the most contemptible.
  20. If these worked half as hard on their football as they did on their diving they'd be top half. Delap has just performed another top Olympic tumble.
  21. Let's not forget getting dug out by corrupt refs giving ludicrous decisions, don't think the 1999 side needed that either.
  22. I see the so-amazing Dorgu, the new signing who was supposed to shore up the defense and take Man U to their rightful place in the top half, has already been dropped. I’m not sure if I’ve ever in my life seen such a dogshit XI turn up at SJP wearing red. I don’t care if I’m jinxing things, but these are fucking wretched and if we can’t beat them it’ll only be our own fault.
