  1. Adult only hotel as well obviously. 😎 Not a child in sight.
  2. Wasn't 4 months ago they were booing one of their players for the crime of just wanting to leave. And behaving fairly impeccably throughout.
  3. They especially love Isak cos he's playing the victim and they see a kindred spirit. "the media hates Liverpool ffs."
  4. Also, Isak's position is basically done now. They've gone nuclear with won't play even if he's still here. There's no more noise they can really make. Whats next? "OK ok, how about this? I won't play if I'm still here AND I'll do a poo on Eddie Howe's car bonnet every day."
  5. But it worsens our position with the player. A player who we are going to be stuck with for another season. Because then we blocked his move instead of the buying club failing to meet our valuation. It doesn't make any sense to do what you're saying. Other than short term satisfaction of "yeah! We're the ones who killed that off, we're the boss!"
  6. Aye I'd agree with you. Same goes for all these tits signing for Chelsea thinking that it surely won't be them that misses out. We've signed Ramsdale now though. I could see us coming back in for Trafford next summer if he's barely played any games and Ramsdale hasn't worked out.
  7. Every time they've had Martin O'Neil on since Isak refused to go to Singapore, he's told this story. He's told it AT LEAST three times now on the same show, and Jim White just keeps teeing it up every time.
  8. Lads, they're still spending the Souness money.
  9. All this for a "just two regular Joes" photo op. Fucking pair of planks. "the foreign secretary failed to catch any fish"
  10. There was some scouse cunt on Talksport earlier going on about how Liverpool have never bought success, trying to claim that it all started with Shankly and now they're reaping the rewards of that, and suddenly they're able to spend in this window. Went completely unchallenged of course. Mind it was Jim White who must have a sub 100 IQ.
  11. I'd sooner they allow Liverpool to continue to embarrass themselves with lowball bids between now and the end of the window. It would allow Isak to see that they don't really want him too. Then the window shuts, reality comes crashing in, and we offer him the "sack your agent" approach as a way of reintegration. It's possible that one of the outcomes here is that he gets a new deal with a release clause for next summer. There is nobody inside the club that is going to want to deal with this Lemic prick on those discussions. So you just make it a prerequisite of him getting his payrise.
  12. *sexy voice* PURPLE...... MMMMMMM.... PANEL *sexy voice*
  13. People don't have to be convinced. They just need to recognise that this is the off-ramp for the situation and allow Howe and the player to use it for the benefit of Newcastle United. It's the only remaining scenario where we actually come out as the winners. Liverpool don't get their man, Isak doesn't get his move, and we get one of the best strikers in Europe for another season AND most crucially the time to find his replacement.
  14. Of course I've got AC, you silly bitches. And a swim-up room so I'm basically 10 feet from either AC or a nice cold pool. All precautions have been taken to ensure my safety.
  15. Fly to Kos tomorrow. I'm fucking wilting in the heat here, so fuck knows what it'll be like there. Last trip abroad was Zanzibar in 2019.
  16. I think if he fires his agent, he could pin a bunch of the worst stuff on him and say that it was his agent saying this stuff and he was being advised not to offer a counter if he wanted to get his move. Won't be easy to pull off, but if the will was there from the player, I think Howe would do everything he could to engineer a climbdown. Not sure the will is there though. He really has handled it about as poorly as is possible.
  17. I'd heard of Isak though and I'm not someone who follows football that closely. And he'd looked decent at the Euros iirc. And when we signed him there were people on the Athletic writing articles about how class he was etc. This other kid seems to have come from nowhere, had one good season in Portugal, and they want £70m for him. I mean fuck that. We can't afford a mistake like that with PSR whether the Saudis want to roll the dice or not. Unless they're gonna promise to pay £80m for him to go over there if he ends up being shite.
  18. If we get the players we need, and it's a big if considering where we are in the window*, I'd still make him stay if Liverpool try to take the piss on price. They know our valuation, so they need to meet or get very close. *we shouldn't be buying this Samu kid who's had one good season in Portugal by the sound of it. Way too much of a gamble, and we shouldn't be taking gambles to help Liverpool and Isak out.
  19. Positive signs for the season. We won a trophy during your barren spell last time around. I'm not saying long may it continue, but long may it continue.
  20. He's redistricting to try and improve their chances, I know that. I'm not aware of him trying to stop them happening?
  21. The only real downfall available now is a hammering in the midterms. I don't think he runs again, never mind wins the next time.
