Aye totally incomparable.

Would require a climb down from the Saudis for that to happen. Are they known for climb downs?

It's a Luke Edwards Exclusive according to the article, so he'll be the only one reporting it. Not sure what you mean by Howe says no and CN says yes?
-
I'm not remotely into motorbikes, but that is a class looking bike. Let me know where you're leaving it parked next.

He's welcome here any day. We'll get chonged and stick Ice Cube's War of the Worlds on. I reckon it'd be bang up his street.
-
I also think it was nice of you all not to give @thebrokendollthe "this is brand new information" treatment when he turned up a page late with the Edwards article. Nobody even mentioned it, and to treat an older member of the forum like that is a gesture at least on a par with free season tickets for 85 years olds, for me. We've outdone the mackems again.

I'm not sure telling he he can't leave is that helpful to Howe mind. He's the poor cunt that's got to actually manage the situation on the ground. I'm pleased though. More than anything else because him and those scouse tramps don't just get to get what they want.

If we'd done this and the RTG response was "not shewa about this like marra", we'd have something to say about it. If you're 85 in the NE, chances are you're getting by on not much more than a state pension. I don't think you suddenly get poorer at 85, but they can't offer it to all pensioners so they've picked an age to have a cutoff where you no longer have to pay. There's not a lot wrong with that.

Nice gesture. I mean I'm assuming it's the cost of max 10 season tickets, but nevertheless....

Doesn't look like his legs are in traction yet. There's still time.

Bin dipping toasters?

Botman "fully fit".

Let's have a poll to establish TT consensus view. Go on @ewerk.

Fair play, that's class from Robson. As with most public figures, there's probably a lot of unseen stuff they did which meant a lot to people, and which no one else ever saw.
-
Also Eddie the General: if I have to run with this squad of players come the end of the transfer window, I'll be proud to do so. Look at last season, we signed nobody and what did we do? We won a trophy. Eddie's digging in and building the siege mentality. We're gonna fucking KNACK everybody.

Wykiki's favourites the Geordie Journos with the casting vote: Their interpretation is that the player is refusing to train/play. They also said there was some positive stuff from Howe. He was asked about the ownership and said that there is a lot going on behind the scenes with the training ground and stadium, and that the ownership are as interested and as engaged today as they were when the club was first taken over. Also he was asked whether the club has been dynamic as he had asked them to be in the transfer window, and he gave a very robust yes and defended the transfer team for their efforts in the window. (and yes I think he would have done at least some of this even if he thought they'd fucked it) So it sounds like, at least on the face of it, Howe is still fully on board, and it's largely Isak (and Paul Mitchell/Darren Eales who refused to improve his contract) that have brought about the vast majority of the mess we find ourselves in.
-
Different interpretations of Howe's quotes on the two videos. Downie thinks the player is the one saying he won't train with his teammates, Hope thinks Howe is saying that the player's outlook/attitude is such that he can't have him training with the rest of the squad. Who knows, but it looks like a very long road back, if that's even possible, so we're gonna be doing our absolute best to sign two strikers and move him on.
-
The belief that PIF won't sign off on Watkins and Wissa btw. After the complete fuck up their terrible decision making has made of the transfer window.
-
Absolute nonsense from Lawson. That's not a shot Ramsdale should be criticised for not saving.
-
Howe's post match quotes might explain why we continue to plumb the depths of our striker targets. Sounds like Isak continues to be a little cunt.
-
Dunno if it's been mentioned, but no Wissa in the squad for Brentford tonight.
-
Ramsdale and Koreardsley both get a start.
