1. Signed for Spurs. Which, to continue the Formula One analogies, puts our striker search in the pits with a cross-threaded wheel nut. Or something.
2. Happy Face will have it. He's probably taken today off work to listen to it tbh.
3. I make all the decisions tbh. Alex just pops up with irrelevant facts all the time, at which point I crack him across the head and tell him to be still.
4. "....it would not surprise me in the least if United have even asked Arsenal to let Theo Walcott come to St James' Park on loan." It would not surprise me in the least if you'd just made that up, you absolute knobhead.
5. I can't believe the Woodgate thread on N-O is at 57 pages when basically NOTHING has happened. What have they been talking about?!?
6. He was just enquiring about Ashton and Bent to kill some time while he waited for Martins tbh. Same with his scouting of Kuyt. Football managers get bored too you know!
7. The facts speak for themselves tbh.
8. "I'm living on the mobile phone at the moment, but one of the biggest problems we have is that the season has now started in Europe and the coaches have got their squads together and it is proving difficult to prise players away." Ta-daaaaaah! At least this means we might fair better next summer.
9. Not that closely but I don't remember him looking as piss poor as Luque, even on his worst day.
10. I used to throw my lunch in the bin at school man. I was like a rake.
11. He shouldn't need it coaxed out of him tbh. This was his big money move and a chance to show people in a different country how good he was. His performances in the last couple of games have screamed "I can't be arsed", no matter what BumDot says.
12. He switched to 6 the season he moved to Real, and yes he did say it. I've seen it quoted today on NO, in the transfer talk section, I can't be arsed to find it again, but you'll have no trouble reading throught the 20 odd posts there's been on there today. 186626 Is it dead on there like? "Trust us. We know what we're doing. The changes are working."
13. A 'proper' dead leg is a damned sight more painful than the one's yoyu get when someone punches your leg and arm in a certain place. 186623 You obviously never got a dead leg off someone as nails as me tbh. There were people walking down the corridor in my school dragging their leg behind them after a knuckle punch off the Gemmillator.
14. We're in Pole PosishuuuuuUUUUUUN (remember that?) on 3 transfers according to Glenn "Pinnochio" Roeder.
15. Did he say that? I thought it was the pillock Shepherd that said that. If he did say that it was more than likely PR tbh - if I was moving to Real Madrid I wouldn't be dreaming of a return to Newcastle anytime soon. Wasn't Woodgate wearing 27 anyway?
16. It probably was deliberate, but I thought there was barely any contact on the Faye one. Faye really made a meal of it.
17. I thought Davies was unlucky with the one he got sent off for (on Faye) but that he should have gone for the earlier one on Hreidarsson.
18. Might be time to give Taylor a go instead of Bramble. Bramble's defending for Angel's goal was awful. Even after Angel picked the ball up, there was no urgency from him, just the usual ponderous, lumbering movement. It also rids us of Bramble's infuriating long balls - he must have about a 1 in 12 success rate with them ffs.
19. Babayaro, Bramble and Solano are the only 3 I can think of, and Solano is definitely a marginal call. As is Bramble really.
20. It's the ONLY subject Leazes likes to talk about. A thread can be about anything else and he'll always try and steer it towards his favourite subject - Shepherd and the board - no matter how tenous the link.
21. Should have checked that out before he bought the luxury helicopter, the div.
