I doubt they wanted to sell Duran. It's entirely about whether a target is available and whether we have the funds in this window to prise them away from their team. The answer to one or both of those questions was obviously no. The worst thing we could do is buy a player that might be a fit between here and May, but we're not sure about him long term.

That happened to me when I was on keto. Went for Christmas dinner at my mam's and had her texting my wife after to ask if I was ill. I was pissed off at the time, but I recently saw some photos from Christmas day and I did look fucking unwell. I mean, I wasn't. I was what would probably be considered a healthy weight, and if I'd been walking around like that in the 60s and 70s before we all became fat cunts, no one would have said owt.
