Someone earlier mentioned that big Sam's transfer budget over his time at Bolton has averaged 500k per season, so honestly what do you think? Also he has brought through players like Nicky Hunt, Kevin Nolan, Richardo Gardner or his scouting of Tal Ben Haim, Henrik Pererson or his ability to revive players careers like Jay Jay Okocha or Ivan Campo - so no he's got no history of that sort of ability, thank fuck the fat man wouldn't be interested in him.

An we ended up with geordie boy clark!!! Fuckingeordienationtastic!

He didn't have that chance son, Liverpool weren't prepared to pay or put up the money needed that would have took him back to Merseyside. That and Benitez made it clear he didn't want him.

Not to rain on your parade Jimbo but Wolf Blass is at best average now and if one absolutely has to then the Wolf Blass Black Label, especially if it's a present. If you have an opportunity to buy some cellared Black label, so pre 1990, I can recommend it highly. Seriously if you are buying something as a present nothing less than a Grand Cru, if you want to buy 'stralian, Penfolds 707 is good value (better than Grange but without the wank factor), Moss Wood from West Aust is great, Henschke from SA makes some amazing wines. Pinot Noir from Providence in Tasmania is one of the best you'll ever find but it's hard to get. Not that I'd want to promote the NZ wine industry the one exception is Sam Neill's Two Paddocks pinot noir, again almost impossible to get. http://www.twopaddocks.com/index.shtml http://www.providence-vineyards.com.au/ http://www.penfolds.com.au/collection/supe...707-cab-sav.asp http://www.mosswood.com.au/home http://www.henschke.com.au Or if you're feeling adventurous. http://www.winehouse.com.au/OldRareWines.asp

We should be so lucky, at least the dirty bit on the side gets some. Newcastle to Owen is like having to visit that long lost aunt every second christmas and then making an excuse so you can leave early!

It's all a bit 5th form pencil case tttt. True, especially when you slash listed as the very next post just thought I would add a bit of non pseudo insanity Of course, any person that names themself after a colloquialism for a piss, would bring that to the argument.

It's all subjective. Michael Hedges was one of the best guitarist you will ever hear but he played a genre of music released on a small obscure label most people will never get the opportunity to hear his work.

I posed that question a while back, does he still post on N-O? Or has he just disappeared?

To quote Tom: Theres probably a reason why tbh

Awesome song off a very underrated album. It came on my shuffle on the way home tonight. I made sure to skip it instantly. I like it because it's basically just a silly little shiny pop song. Unlike the eurovision shite you listen to other days??? Luscious jackson - electric honey

If I was Patrokles my note would start: Dear mum, Luke and Ewerk made me do it!

What qualifying for European competition next season??? So he's a wanker, he's a smarter manager than the wanker we've got. He's still a wanker tbh. True but he at least gets to wank over europe

Read a lot of Kafka years ago. In the translations I have read the style is staid but I was under the impressions that was part of the whole existential writing/characters. All is bleak but there is fuck all I can do so I may as well surrender now. IMHO his work is best read while drunk and depressed.

Any need? No wonder you started the bullying thread! Conscience? No, it's just plainly a silly thing for him to say and achieves nothing but rolling eyes, but it is entirely predictable you would defend him as you do for everyone who says ott positive stuff about us. No bullying, honest. Well, you say that, but aren't you one of the ones who will often come up with the 'expectations successfully lowered' kind of quote? How does this tally with someone actually showing ambition and high expectations? Would you rather he didn't say he felt we could achieve something? Imagine the slating he'd get if he said 'yeah, I'm settled in for scrappy draws at bolton next year.' Imagine how much better our season would of been if we had of been able to actually get those type of results!
