1. Unfortunetly, the Lion of Gosforth won't have that, however, he did speak highly of him on his recent BBC Radio Newcastle interview. 104204 Talking about me again.
2. When you're pissed off, just look at this and remember it could be worse
3. Books are them things wot Omar gets his Newcastle info from, aren't they?
4. Bellamy <Even did an edit, anarl>
5. Absolutely true. 104039 |Not that I don't believe you, but have you got a link? Just the implications are absolutely massive, you could have families paying huge amounts of money. Surprised there's not uproar really. 104044 No link. On 1st April the Department of Health is changing the procedure for contracts for NHS dentists. I'm predicting the result of this will be massive numbers of dentists pulling out of the NHS altogether. Just stand back and watch it happen, mate. The Government of course will blame dentists, and the general public will swallow it. But the fact is the new system will make it nigh on impossible for a dentist to treat people under the NHS. Private treatment for all is coming through the back door. 104058 My mate's a dentist and is going 100% private from the 1st of April, which does support what HTL is saying. 104063 Thanks for the support Gemmill, but I don't really need it mate. Unfortunately for you lot, on this subject I know what I'm talking about. There are links out there.........here's a couple........ Link 1 Link 2 Note the last paragraph. What a scream that is, if you get my drift as it's obvious what has been happening. 104067 Ah, you're talking about the new contract. What you mean is that it will be harder to find an NHS dentist (I agree), not that Under 16s won't be entitled to free dental care per se. I think we'll have to see what the upshot is - I suspect the effect will vary greatly depending on your locality. I also think that the dentist shortage will be a short-lived thing - there are currently hundreds more dental students being taught than there were if figures are to be believed. 104135 Not really, Renton. Read between the lines mate. The Government knows it can't just come out and scrap NHS treatment for under 16's, so they make it impossible for the dentists to work for the NHS. The dentists will therefore pull the plug because they will have to. The dentists will get the blame, the Government put a spin on it, lie and hide the real facts. The fact is, there is a caveat in the contract that has the effect of 'all or nothing'. If a dentist takes on ANY private patients they will not be eligible for a contract to do NHS work. At all. Most dentists will not be able to exist on what is being offered under the NHS contract, the deal won't even cover their business overhead. They will have to do some private work. That means.......no NHS contract. As for a shortage of dentists. Well with the numbers of Polish dentists coming here, who may or may not be properly qualified, there probably will be plenty of dentists as you say. But do you want to risk it?
6. Aye, could never be the organ grinder, like.
7. Probably me. I used to go there to wind them up. It's all they're good for, man.
8. Shit, I thought it might have been Bellamy.
9. you're obsessed with me aren't you 104091 No, he's obsessed with me.
10. That's why I didn't offer to meet up with you mate, I know you're deed hard, like.
11. And they say romance is dead. 103915 It was either the Dyson or a new hi-fi system, built from scratch. 103916 Funny you should say that, Gemmill. My SO sometimes buys me some item for the diy hifi, depends what I'm looking for. Diy is the way to do it Gemmill. You can squander your hard earned on shite sounding stuff from that rip off place in the arcade ( assuming you've progressed past the Dixon's or Curry's stage ) if you like............
12. Hope you've got kids, mate. And bad teeth. I'm ok like.

15. Cue posts from the usual suspects who'll claim Owen has replaced Shearer, not Bellamy! 103491 Owen - Out and out goalscorer/striker Shearer - Out and out goalscorer/striker Bellamy - Support striker to an out and out goalscorer type You can tell me where I'm wrong and we can have a debate about it, or is it going to be a silly one-liner? I'm open to alternative opinions Craig, I know I may not be right but this is what I believe as I sit here right now. Convince me I'm wrong. 103714 Shearer is still here, Bellamy is not. I think it's fairly self explanatory who he was bought to replace! So if we buy a striker of the Shearer mould this summer, are you going to claim he's a replacement for Bellamy?? 103862 Hope in your job you have nowt to do with forward planning.
16. From April 1st. Is anybody bothered?
17. Joking aside, a Smart isn't a bad car if look for a small city car. It's right that the company is struggling as it made heavy losses in recent years (their head quarters are close to where I live, a friend got sacked as they had to cut jobs). So they stopped the production of the roadster as it wasn't selling very well. No wonder because the car looks shite and isn't very handy (and if you want a small roadster you are in fact better of with a Mazda). If I was going to buy a Smart it would only be the "normal" one. 103100 Probs disagree with you there like, ive got an 1.6 MX5 which is great, but im now being forced to sell it as ive just bought a house and im doing silly miles to work (not 35k a year mind). My sister has a Smart Roadster which ive driven and i think that it is different to the 5, but its got amazing roadholding and is more like driving a go kart than anything else. Its much lower to the ground than the 5. Downside to the Smart is that it has lots of problems with leaking seals and the auto gearbox is too slow. 103748 The problem with Smart Cars is surely that they look like Dyson's tbh. And the Roadsters plight wasnt helped when potteries karaoke legend Robbie Williams bought one. 103760 What's wrong with Dysons? I bought my wife one for her birthday last year, she was thrilled with it and still is. Some great colours. Can't you get someone to buy you one?
18. you ever thought of going into politics? If you'd read it as how it was meant in the first place then you'd have been able to answer it. 103742 I read it and understood it fully earlier on. I refer you to the response I gave earlier, and in fact in my last post in this thread. It was also there in the first place.
19. Owen - Small striker whos pace troubles defenders and benefits from Shearer's knockdowns Bellamy - Small striker whos pace troubles defenders and benefited from Shearer's knockdowns It's impossible to compare individual players because their games are not identical, certainly not possible in four words. Perhaps players are bought for their own attributes rather than as a direct replacement? 103729 Mate, the fact they are small and quick is the only thing they have in common. Their 'game' is entirely different, Owen is similar to Shearer, not Bellamy. Dotbum just said it in the previous post.
20. What sad old twat routine? Give me an example, just one of those little examples, mate. I'll answer anything put to me, always have and always will. I know what you meant. Tart? Funny? The points in my last post are valid. You felt the need once again to chuck in various accusations that are a load of bollocks. I'm just pointing that out, that's all. You'll have to clarify the question because Fred isn't a player, so I'm not sure how this is a realistic choice. In any case, I'll have a go. The manager picks the players, the Chairman supports the manager.
