He's good enough for now (sorry I don't buy Raylor being a better DEFENDER because he has scored a couple of crackers) and will be good enough back up in the long term but it seems he might be getting ideas above his station. I know the board are a bunch of pricks but if they can offer the likes of Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Tiote etc.. satisfactory comments it's difficult to believe they couldn't offer Simpson a reasonable contract.
