  1. Said numerous times, if he dropped that shit he would be one of the most knowledgable and interesting posters on the forum. Problem is, it's 5 years now (probably more tbh) and he still goes on about it like it was yesterday. I got soo much shit when arguing that Milner wasn't as shit as a lot were saying he was, if I spent my whole life arguing that because no player we have signed since was signed for/has been sold for £12m or £24m (+ I think with Ireland going the over way) I too could bore the absolute fuck out of the rest of the forum telling everyone I was 'right' every time we signed/discussed a player. I don't understand how he doesn't get this, he has been told so many times by so many different posters but he just can't drop it and has to be 'proven right' which just ruins it for every other poster. The sooner he finds a new hobby or somehow loses access to the internet forever the sooner this place will be able to have interesting debates and attract new members who are interested in talking about more than one subject.
  2. I genuinely respect the lenient approach on this forum but Leazes ruins every thread he posts in, whether it's general chat or football. It gets harder and harder to enjoy any thread (especially football related) on here because the old fool will come in, ruin it then blame everyone else and post shit like "why don't you ask Manc Mag why he...". I have very rarely seen this forum get stick on other forums, the only negative comments I have seen are about Leazes and a good number are people who are quite new to the whole Newcastle forum 'scene' so haven't seen the history of the whole thing. Posters tell him over and over again to change the record but he just won't, fairly sure from comments by himself and admin that he has been warned on a number of occasions about this, he has even said he will change but he never does and never will. He really adds fuck all to this place, he really does his very best to ruin the place. Needs to fuck off or be fucked off tbh. It's so fucking tedious going through this bullshit in the majority of threads and I am sure he is getting worse.
  3. Short term loan deal would be good to get him up and running again. We have enough options with Tiote, Cabaye, Guthrie and Abeid.
  4. We used to have international class strikers (shearer, Bellamy, Ferdinand, cole etc). Best isn't fit to lace their boots unfortunately and he never will be. Which makes him shit? I could name 4 midfielders we have had that are better than Jonas but it doesn't make him shit. Best is by no means exceptional but he isn't shit either, as Alex has said he uses the attributes he does have to good effect. He works hard and although he misses chances he should put away he has a good knack of getting into good positions, his time here has been very prolific which backs that up somewhat. A player who "should have scored more" but still has something like 9 goals in 15 games must have a good instinct of where to be which isn't something easily taught. At the start of the season I said he was a more than acceptable 4th choice striker but the way he is playing it's becoming harder to say he doesn't deserve a proper go now.

    Odd people

    Speaking of looney old bastards.
  6. When did we sign Little Richard?
  7. Yep, we are third because we have a fantastic spine to the team so far. Krul has been brilliant, Colo is Colo, Taylor is playing like the lad he was hyped to be, Tiote is back to his best, Cabaye has fitted straight in and looks brilliant then we have 2 strikers who average a goal a game between them. It's no coincidence we are doing so well and although I know we will finish a number of places below where we are now if we can keeps these players performing as they are whilst introducing the likes of Ben Arfa, Santon, Marveaux to the set up we can have a very good season. I know my "expectations have been lowered etc.." but finishing 7th this season isn't unrealistic and would represent a very good season.
  8. All trying to work out whose parent has come to pick them up as you walk in.
  9. I saw tranny in Bedford once. He looked very feminine in his dress and wig, and you'd say he looked like a woman. Except this man was at least 6 foot 7. He was the tallest person I've ever seen. Ive never been to Bedford, dont even know where it is.....honest It's in Bedfordshire. No-one knows where Bedford is, until you mention it is in the same county as Luton. Then people get a vague idea. Just like Sunderland "It's near Newcastle" "Ah right, yeah I know where that is".
  10. You're coveniantly ignoring the pen Wolves shouldve had and the apparently good goal they had chalked off. If we're as open v Spurs they'll more than likely rip us a new one. Not that i'm not chuffed as nuts with results. Today was great. But chill the fuck oot man. We're at best a work in progress. All teams will have games where they have good and bad luck. We have certainly suffered our fair share of both. The fact is we won, we played some good football and we are third.
  11. Cause he's a big fukin clueless wanker that's why. The only reason he carries on with Obi is that he's someone to chip the ball to who can run down the field with it...That's about it. He don't do much else. Tbf Ben Arfa is still being eased back and that's probably the correct approach given the length of his initial injury and subsequent knock pre-season. He doesn't seem to have lost much (if any pace) so would do the same job as Obertan but with a lot more talent, I just think Pardew has him lined up as a forward which is a bit trickier to slot him straight in with both who currently occupy the positions playing very well.
  12. Used to hate Saylor/Raylor too but it's just easier (by a matter of about 1/4 of a second ). You can't stop the Parkster with his nicknames though, it's just part of his persona now

    Demba Ba

Would have released Loven on a free in the summer but I suppose he is a decent option for cup games (as shown against Forest) allowing a more important player to get a rest. Doubt he is on much either.
  14. There is a tranny who walks around Stevenage that looks like Ronny Corbett.
  15. Show me where I said anything that you claimed? You won't, because you are a fucking moron but as long as you can claim I said it that will mean you are right, "as usual". Pathetic old tosser.
  16. You ruin this place for everyone, grow the fuck up and change your tune or just fuck off. It's getting fucking tedious and I don't see what you get from it.
  17. Fuck me Leazes ruins pretty much every thread these days, would be nice to come on here one day and not have to try and find the rare thread he hasn't started banging on about his usual shit. Worse than any other club wum I have ever come across. Anyway.. good news this, Jonas can be the most frustrating player ever when he is at his worst but he is a very, very useful player
  18. Really don't like this 'he is shit until proven otherwise', such a poor attitude. How about, "he hasn't impressed me so far but hopefully he gets better'. Slightly more balanced viewpoint? Unless he does something really special he isn't getting ahead of Tiote and Cabaye but pre-season he looked good and he is still getting over a long term injury. Ok so Everton fans didn't rate him as a youngster but many didn't rate Carroll when he was first coming through, quite a few thought Jose was a flop in his early days etc.. I think Gosling will probably be a good squad player who will grab his share of goals (scored for the reserves tonight btw). He will be a more mobile version of Nolan, won't offer a great deal in general play but will get around the pitch (not all that quickly) and will find himself in good shooting positons. IMO..
  19. I've been telling you for over 5 years now that it would be difficult to replace the owners idiots such as yourself despised, would be difficult to match. And you have disagreed right from day 1, along with lots of others. Please tell me when this is going to actually happen ? So, until somebody else actually does it, please refrain from talking about such things as "a bit more sense", unless its impossible for you There are 32 games to go. We have not played any good team yet, other than Arsenal who are themselves in a crisis when judged on their own high standards over the past 15 years. Your comments are exactly the sort of naive rubbish that has been posted by people like yourself on these message boards for many years now. It is crystal clear that you are as big an idiot as you have always been and have learned absolutely nothing from experience. Let's see what you've won! It's a never ending loop, if I could be arsed I would reply asking him to find something from me saying any of that, he would then say something like "well maybe you didn't but plenty of people did" then mention something about N-O. The man is a moron who seems to be stuck in a personal groundhog day.
  20. "A bit more sense" you mean ludicrous negativity refusing to accept any positivity because Mike Ashley owns the club. Leazes, you really aren't intelligent enough to take on this debate, although it has never stopped you before. Arsenal will, shockingly finish in the top 10. They are still one of the better teams in the league, we have also struggled in the past against the likes of Fulham and Blackburn so it would take the most 'head up your arse, super negative' twat to try and downplay a good start to the season. The fortune teller in me predicts a reply that doesn't really have anything to do with what I just posted..
  21. Some harsh critics on here, he does miss chances but he has something like 9 goals in 12 premier league starts. I wouldn't consider that someone who is nailed on to fluff chance after chance. I still have my doubts and he needs to do it a lot longer before I am confident of his ability but it's stange seeing people question his shooting and play based on his Newcastle career so far.
  22. Thought this was going to be about Wes Brown.
  23. To me, the way you posted it, it makes it look like you got around 10 days more a year than the average person when actually taking into account bank holidays you get the same as most people
