  1. come on people get it signed The signatories to this petition demand that John Smeaton be awarded a knighthood or an equally appropriate award of bravery for his actions in preventing the serious loss of life at Glasgow Airport on 30 June 2007. John Smeaton is a man who, in the face of terrorism of an international scale, put aside concerns for his own personal safety to protect the lives of his fellow man. On 30 June 2007, he tackled a terrorist in the midst of carrying out an attack on Glasgow Airport, intent on causing serious loss of life. But for the brave and selfless actions of Mr Smeaton, nobody was harmed and human life was preserved. This is a man whose actions truly deserve to be recognised and the signatories to this petition believe he should be honoured in the most appropriate way deemed possible. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/JohnSmeaton/

  11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/6262266.stm Baggage handler becomes web hero An airport worker who tackled the suspected Glasgow Airport bombers has become an overnight internet phenomenon thanks to a tribute website. John Smeaton told the BBC how he had raced to help a police officer restrain the suspects after they crashed a burning Jeep into the terminal. Just two days after the attack, a website has been set up in honour of baggage handler Mr Smeaton's heroism. The site urged visitors to 'pledge a pint' to Mr Smeaton as a reward. In an interview with the BBC immediately after Saturday's attack, Mr Smeaton, from Erskine, Renfrewshire, described how he had seen the two terror suspects getting out of the burning vehicle and attacking a lone policeman who attempted to subdue them. The interview, which was broadcast around the world, saw Mr Smeaton describe how his first thought on being confronted by the two desperate suspects in a burning car as he smoked a cigarette during his break was: "What's the score? I've got to get this sorted." He said: "I thought 'that's not right' and ran over to assist. All that was going through my mind was I've got to help the policeman, I'm not letting these guys get away with this." What's the score? I've got to get this sorted John Smeaton Baggage Handler The website claimed Mr Smeaton's "have-a-go" attitude was typical of the Glaswegian spirit, and hailed him as the airport's answer to Jack Bauer, the all-action hero of American TV drama 24. The website said it was attempting to raise enough money to buy Mr Smeaton, who works for Airway Handling, 1000 pints, and featured links to clips of the interviews he conducted with the world's media, including the BBC. "Here's to John. This man shows us that the law-abiding, honest, brave citizen is still very much with us," the site proclaimed. "Here's to his heroism, his straightforward belief in right and wrong, his support for law and order, and his willingness to give a good kicking to someone richly deserving it." The site has already attracted thousands of visitors, with many leaving comments praising Mr Smeaton's actions.

These two lasses sit me down in his chair that massages your back while one washed my hair and give me some sort of head massage, the other came round and decided to massage my hands, after about ten minutes they point for me to go other to some other seat where the main guy Edo cut my hair, probably the best hair cut and experience i ever had, total cost £7!!!
