  1. At this time I would rather have Bellamy playing for us and wanting to play for us than that little mercenary scouse scumbag Owen tbh, they're both arseholes in their own way but if we have to have one I'd rather it be the one that actually wants to play for us... as amazing as that sounds.
  2. True enough but he's not wrong I think he's talking shit tbh. He inherited a side that had came 4th, 3rd and 5th in the 3 previous seasons and he's moaning about not having enough money to build a team even though he spent £50m on making us far worse than we were before. Hitting the nail on the head there Alex, he inherited a team comfortabley in the top 4-5, had £50m and knackered the team beyond recognition - Souness is a complete clown with no credibility what-so-ever. Fecking scumbag tbh.
  3. It's scary for two reasons - firstly their spelling is REALLY bad, maybe down to too much smog between the kids and the blackboards in school. And secondly they seem to think they're some sort of rival to us... like we're their arch enemy or something, weird when you think they're in a totally different country to us, surely Leeds would be their nearest rivals?
  4. I've just read it's an 'initial' fee of £7m, so there's going to be clauses in it for more payments later...
  5. I actually feel a little sorry for Wigan... nobody deserves to have a player as shite as Bramble, well, except the mackems perhaps.
  6. From the Independant (though has been in several other sources): Must admit I'm not too keen on the scouse fans myself... I don't see how they can justify the behaviour
  7. Couldn't we keep him and sell Emre instead?
  8. How is he worth £8m when Parker is apparently only worth £7.5? What a load of bullshit, £4m maybe but I don't see the point.

    Nonda?

Is that a done deal then? Shame that.
  10. That's a fair bit of cash Man Utd are dishing out at the mo, about £30m for the two lads they bought yesterday, another £17m for Hargreaves and I reckon they'll still need to buy a new striker as well.
  11. Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel (if a little impatient perhaps). I don't think Sam's the type to leave everything til the last minute like previous managers have done. And it's looking more and more likely that Shepherd won't be holding things up any more than with the actual takeover itself - I'm feeling fairly happy for a change
  12. The stuff dreams are made of... that'd be great

    Nonda?

It's a building process and we need to be realistic, all the players we've been linked with would improve our squad and first team, I'd love us to sign Nani and Anderson but why would they even consider coming here?! True, I can't see many 'top' players wanting to come here in our current state (with no European footy) but I think some of the names we're being linked with is scraping the barrel a bit, there MUST be better options available than Nonda surely?! I'd rather we went for Nugent or someone like that tbh.

    Nonda?

That's kind of my point really, just better put

    Nonda?

Don't we? Our squad was understaffed last season, add to that the 5 released who were out of contract, the others we want to move on like Parker and the young lads reportedly going out on loan then I think a £2 million offer for Nonda is good business. Nail On Head I think perhaps that came accross wrong, I know we need to bulk out the squad, without a doubt we've had an ever decreasing squad size over the last 2-3 seasons but what i meant was I don't think getting Nonda is the right area we need to be concentrating on. We need a decent forward to partner Owen or Martins (whoever stays) and then one back striker to sit as reserve or second choice with Shola. If we were talking about extra defenders or the odd midfielder to come in as back then fair enough. I guess we could always use nonda in cup competitions but I can't see him being that good for us in the league.
  16. I like Scotty Parker, always seemed dedicated to every game. There's plenty of others I'd have gotten rid of before him but then if he wants to go and we can get £8.5m for him then I guess it'll have make do. I just hope that we get in someone of equal dedication to the team. Incidentally, who's likely to be the new club captain if he goes? Given?

    Nonda?

I reckon someone should give Sam a call a bit sharpish and tell him we don't need to make a team up of half arsed, cheapo players with the new owner around. Don't get me wrong, it's nice that we're getting a few bargains but I don't think we have to scrape the barrel anymore. Nonda? No ta.
  18. I'm a little concerned I must admit, Viduka I guess I'm happy enough with - though not as a main striker, not with his injuries. What worries me more though is all this talk about Barton coming our way, I'm not convinced about him, I think he's too much of a risk with the trouble he might cause... though I guess Sam did sort Diouf out.
  19. Looks like Harry's going to be running out of brown envelopes before the summer's even got going at this rate, talk about king of the quick transfers!
  20. Shepherd's a prick, he needs to get the hell out of Dodge before he gets lynched... mind you that'll be one hell of a rope! He's no Toon fan, just a fat, money-grabbing scumbag who doesn't know when to do the right thing.
  21. It won't be his ego he's massaging...
  22. Fuck it, I'm fed up to the back teeth with the whinging scouse pricks, let them have the little shit - if he can't commit to us openly and this sort of crap is still rumbling on I say ditch him, I'm just really hacked off with hearing about it day in, day out.
