  1. Built by Scousers? Looks horrific mind… Scousers actually working??? Naaaaaaah. Agree with other sentiments though, fucking bad that, at a match would've been disasterous.
  2. Too predictable. Idiotic isn't it? Ideally if you buy well in the summer when there are many more players available as clubs can more readily organise replacements, you'll not find yourself in that predicament in January. Of course if you're Newcastle United currently you also have to make allowances for the better peforming players who are sold in January. The transfer fees from those players can then in turn be used to purchase a new deep fryer for the canteen and to re-carpet the offices. As opposed to all those other players out there who don't get paid a wage. Problem is they know there's a whole bunch of fucking deacons who'll lap this up, wages my arse - so if this £35m is going on wages, etc, what the fuck are they doing with the rest of the club's revenues?... or, heaven forbid, are they suggesting that every time the pot gets low we'll have to sell players to make up the deficit to pay the players? (yes, that was sarcasm).
  3. Too predictable. Was there a quote about how 'savior' Mike has pumped in much more of his own cash in to the club as well and how we're planning for the future? Shucks, I sure didn't expect them to use the '£35m has gone towards other fees and wages' too
  4. C'mon, we all know there's only one redeeming feature of women's football.
  5. I'm kind of pleased with that result, I'd never really seen much of Klitschko before but I actually think he comes across as a much better person and fighter - I doubt Haye would have given a post match interview in three different languages
  6. Exactly what I thought, Haye was very poor after all his hype. Klitschko deserves the win tbh.
  7. Anyone got a decent working little river? PM please?
  8. Good teachers are respected, by even the stupid kids. Bad ones (majority) aren't and run amok. Bad teachers help create those little fuckers. Secondary school teaching is the hardest, but the ones in Sixth Form etc get an easy enough ride, and they're still wank. Obviously i'm not saying this about all teachers, but my point is, the vast majority of them are awful (from a student who isn't one of those nobheads that lives to give them a hard time.) I just hope University gives me good professors. Hmm, not sure I agree with that, not entirely anyways. I put the majority of the poor behaviour from kids down to a complete lack of discipline from their parents or the system, teachers seem to have their hands tied today, though that in itself does breed a standard of teacher who isn't firm enough.
  9. Deffo better than the current design - I wonder how much the designers at Puma get paid for their efforts?! I prefer the old style collars though, where there's actually a collar instead of just a v-neck or whatever.
  10. I'm not a teacher but judging by some of the gobby little pricks that come through my company for apprenticeships when they leave school I'd say teaching is a pretty difficult job and some of these teachers must have the patience of a saint nowadays - it's easier for me to slap the little fuckers down when they start acting up in a working environment that's for sure.
  11. Looking forward to watching this later (if I can find a decent online showing). Been watching the build up and both fighters seem keen, I'm obviously hoping Haye wins it but I have to say Klitschoko surprised me with how well spoken he is, I was expecting him to be some mindless East European thug. Anyone else watching it?
  12. What does it all mean? (I'm not a follower of American 'Football' or basketball)
  13. Happy birthday amigo

  15. He was a freakish looking mong wasn't he, his face was too small for his fat heed.
  16. At least if it is an infection they'll just give you a prescription for some anti-biotics and that'll be it, should be relatively cheap. From the point of view of having had both I'd much rather it was the infection, flu's just nasty.
  17. From the Beeb: About bloody time imo, if some little erk breaks in to my house while I'm there I want the right to be able to make him wish he hadn't.
  18. Sounds like influenza to me, people seem to get it confused with a bad cold a lot but in general proper flu doesn't give you a runny nose, plus flu feels a hell of a lot worse - I've only had it a couple of times that I can think of and it really lays you on your back, aches and delirium as I recall. Flu can be fatal if complications set in like pneumonia as well.
  19. I see it's being reported that Sturridge isn't being considered at all, in fact in the article I read they're claiming Pardew is happy enough with finding a partner for Demba Ba and having Shola and Lovelyhands as backup. Shame really because I rated Sturridge quite a bit.

    SWTOR

Looking forward to this MMO on the pc big styley, due out toward the back end of the year. http://www.swtor.com/
  21. Apparently his 1m release is worded similar to Phi Jones, and Swansea say it only allow us to talk to him. Not happening now. Dont quite understand whats went on here. One minute its about to be confirmed then theres dispute about the release clause and now Swansea have officially said he is staying and play a big part for them. Not arsed really. I dont like the welsh. Likewise, though if I'm honest I think we should test this 'wording' in the contract legally just for the sake of it, just to stick one on Swansea
  22. When did the mackems change their name to the 'gold cats'?
