  1. Dekka is my main point of contention in the current regime, I would seriously forgive a reasonable amount if Ashley got rid of him. Is that wrong? Maybe but it'd certainly make me feel a lot better about the whole situation.
  2. Goodness me. Never one for his style and panache
  3. careful we aren't overcharged half a million quid for a promising player and end up paying 2m quid for Jay Boothroyd instead because its "better value for money" To be honest leazes i would expect to pay about 12mil for him so its a suprise to me Stoke going in with half of that. If we could get him for about 8mil then i'd be delighted. 4mil more to spend on the rest of the squad eh? Dont think we will end up with any shite like Boothroyd. We've already shown our intent in the standard of player we are after. Boothroyd is shite. We wont sign him. Put that in the prediction thread. I'm not sure you can say that tbh bud, so far we've signed players unproven at premiership level and possible crocks. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly been interesting but intent-wise we've had nothing solid. If we sign Zoggy back and bring in Sturridge I'd be more inclined to think we had a definate heading of the right direction (on the pitch anyways).
  4. That's as maybe but with the new boss coming in I can see him wanting his own players and that's just going to push young Sturridge further down the pecking order.
  5. Stoke have put a £6m bid for Sturridge, would be seriously concerned if we couldn't beat Stoke to the punch on such a player tbh.
  6. Quote from that clip "Dunn can't drive for shit"
  7. Those were all retweeted from last week, was Douglas proving 'Toontastic1892' talks shite. Ahh, goodo, I'll know to ignore that chap in future then
  8. Jesus, my gran could probably be an effective goalie in that league!
  9. Cripes busy evening on the Twitter ITKs: a bid from Everton for Barton plus some serious interest from us regarding Jan Huntelaar and Aaron Lennon, not to mention apparently getting closer to signing Zoggy and Craig Gardener.
  10. No way in god's green earth they're going to sell him though. Am I right in thinking he left Man City for more money? I thought he was from Coventry
  11. Sturridge would be great, like Jay said though I'd prefer a sale to a loan.
  12. going have go look this up, pity if so was quite looking forward to this one since seeing the trailer. Honestly, me mate was looking forward to it aswell, then we watched the trailer and it looks nowt special, like a cheap, worse L4D That's a real shame after seeing the trailer, had high hopes for this. Incidentally, didn't realise this gaming forum was here - shame really as I'm an uber game-aholic!
  13. I originally signed up to N-O years ago, eventually found the place to be full of people that I couldn't relate to at all though. All the anti-Keeganism didn't sit well with me and in general the posters seemed to be kids who hadn't been supporting the club for five minutes. Then I signed up on TT and found the crack immeasurably better...
  14. Bah, my first one and the missus and little un have gone out to give me some peace while I work on an assignment. I doubt I'll get much in the way of a decent meal cooked for me tonight either, at least I got a bit of a lie-in this morning though I suppose.

Part of their culture I reckon, watch em lads, watch em.
  16. Are you on about Lomana? Fuck sake he fucking played 30 minutes of football for us you twat. Fuck off We arent likely to be getting a super offer for him off Brighton so if he WAS good enough why would we be selling him then kevin? Fuck off. RE: Armchair Penis...I only said Jose is likely to go from defence and apart from Perch wouldnt consider any of the others as dead wood. Read man. Oi, quit sneaking in with 'Armchair Penis' quips, I served my time - unlike Claire Raynor...
  17. Barton's the one player I really don't want to see leave us, especially now he has his head screwed on. Was an awesome player for us last season and he looks to have really turned a corner with his anger management. Every good team needs a battling midfielder with some passion, like a Batty, Keane or Viera - I know we have Tiote but I just see Barton as being that much more due to his seniority within the squad and he's a distraction to the other teams. Club captain material for me, with maybe Colo as his No2.
  18. Fuck me, will we be playing with a defence next season? I guess we won't need cover either.
  19. Fair play to the lad for being honest enough, I'm sure he could get a place in a Championship team reasonably easily. We'd need a covering right back though if he did go.
  20. For £10m I'd rather have Sturidge, proven at Prem level... but, I wouldn't say no to this guy 'if' we got him for around £6m-£7m.
  21. I fail to see how excitement can com from unproven players...
  22. sorry to hear that Leon, I think you've done the job that's been asked and with few striking options in the side currently there is room for you in the squad. but fuck knows what goes on in the minds of those in charge. Has Pdew spoken with you, how did you hear about it? And, more importantly (sorry to bother you with so many questions), do you know that Christmas Tree on here is a dick? Surely that's common, global knowledge?

Would go with our current policy of buying and selling, probably why we're looking at the likes of Neil Taylor.
  24. He's got a point though, I feel persecuted
