What really fucks me off is all this shit that refs and the FA are untouchable, you can't say anything against them whether it's right or wrong! Imo, recent managerial fines have been ridiculous, just for managers rightly calling refs shite for performing badly and making wrong decisions - until they're accountable for their fuck ups why the hell shouldn't they be called out on them? Pardew's will have every right at the end of the match to say the ref was shit and the decision was wrong but you can be sure if he does say anything he'll get a fine.

Just emphasises the need for refs to have video replays - it would have taken all of a couple of seconds to watch it and make the right decision, though then I have to wonder if the ref had still made the wrong decision.

And after the match when there's the whole discussion of whether it was offside or not it'll all get brushed under the carpet, might get a worthwhile 'apology' from the FA and the ref carries on as normal while we could well lose points rightly earned. Fucking joke, I'd have walked the team off the pitch if I was Pardew. It's also comical how the ref is suddenly carding everyone in sight too, maybe feels threatened...

Let's face it, the club has been turned in to a business rather than a sports club, it's not here for people to enjoy but just to make money - that's the be all and end all of it. No ambition within any competition, we simply 'exist'.

I won the league in my first season with the Toon using the 'Ghost' & 'Goals goals goals' tactics from the Steam workshop - the second season's been a bit more of a struggle mind because I've sold Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Krul, Jonas and Santon for a combined total of about £85m and replaced them all with young wonderkids to bring through.

True, and I was still pissed off we lost to a wank team like Cardiff, especially considering their current plight (and I doubt very much a new manager made any difference to them).

Before we get ahead of ourselves, and wile disappointing, we know that the plan for the club is to not bother with the domestic cups and concentrate on getting as high in the league as possible for the placing money. That said, Europe (if we managed it) would be an inconvenience to the league for the following season so I suspect a similar approach will be taken next term unless Fat Mike thinks he can get more money from being in Europe than what he loses in league places. We've been lucky enough this season that we've attempted more attacking football and we have a number of players that want to perform well prior to the impending World Cup but other than that we're still going to be the mediocre also rans just because that's where Fat Mike wants us to be - it's the best place for his pocket money. With all that as an aside though, we're still better than the Mackems

Shit happens, Krul didn't touch him but the ref was always going to go in favour of the diving attacker seeing as how we're playing so desperately. We got cheated out of points earlier in the season by this lot, seems to have happened again, Debouchy's to blame really though for flying in two footed and getting sent off putting us in the position of 10 men.

Bit harsh to say we've been ripped apart, it's been a very even game and to be honest could/should have been very different if Webb had been doing his job properly - two perfectly fine penalties not given and a player not punished for a headbutt who then goes on to score.
