    Merry Birthday!
  2. When he gets shocked, it sounds like the opening to Duffy - Mercy
  3. Anyone who says "was" instead of "were" when speaking in the past tense needs to be culled imo.
  4. Read the book? I havent actually, but I've been reading and watching a number of his speeches. Quite extreme stuff actually! Shame he was killed by such cowards in the end, but amazing how he carried on rallying despite knowing he was a marked man. I'm definitely going to mark it down as summer reading, I find the whole civil rights, black power etc movements fascinating. Read the Alex Haley book. There are two books I read when I'm down this is one of them. Politics aside, his journey is inspirational. Good luck with the exam. I'll amazon it, and cheers Parky.

  6. Malcolm X (Spike Lee's version) Brilliant. Denzel Washington is an incredible actor. I've been studying Malcolm X for an exam tomorrow, and could see that there's alot of attention to detail. Was loving the zoot suits as well.
  7. Sent my postal vote last week.
  8. thats ok if you add bits of ham, cherry tomatoes and pineapple. That's not pizza, it's an abomination. I spread green pesto on the base (with the tomato sauce of course), then add vine-ripened tomato, sauteed onions and top it off with grated extra mature cheddar. I experimented by using reggae reggae sauce instead of tomato sauce recently which was alright, but just didn't feel like a pizza.
  9. Your username does not lend itself well to this thread at all.
  10. What's in it? Onion, cashew nuts, mushroom, chicken, red pepper. Just a touch of soy sauce and sesame oil to finish it all off. Although I'm undecided between noodles and rice.
  11. Blokes who walk round when it's hot with no shirt on. Seems to only be chavs who do it as far as I can tell. Good for you, you prick, you've spent too much time in the gym. Who are you trying to impress? I hope you get sunburn you cockend.
  12. Could've claimed for it on expenses.
  13. Crying out for goalline technology. Malouda's long range strike was over the line.
  14. I thought she was great. An amazing voice considering she's so young. It's just she fucked up a note and that did it for her. It's all shite like, and always ends up with singers and dancers. Don't really care who wins it, so long as it isn't that posh rugby twat.
  15. When you're absolutely starving and the chinese takeaway bloke finally knocks on the door. The first beer after an exam or long day. And of course, an amazing
  16. Well we have the ridiculous hate thread, why not a more light-hearted one? What are the little things in life that never fail to put a smile on your face? I for one: - like it when someone tries a recipe I gave them and loves it - like the fact that my girlfriend's mum said thankyou for looking after her daughter (wor lass is mighty ill bless her ) - get a small lift whenever I see Fox's double chocolate biscuits on offer - love that glass of whiskey over ice after I've just finished an essay.
  17. I can proudly say that I witnessed that crucial, game-winning goal in such an important fixture.
  18. All that's going wrong in the world at the moment yet the good lord finds the time to appear in marmite form. Wtg.
  19. My mate is treating us lads to some Zambian cooking whilst we play the champions league drinking game tonight. Gonna be mint.
  20. There was another prog about tourettes sufferers not long ago, where a kid stopped mid-sentence and went "WIZZLE. WIZZLER." Shouldn't laugh, but I can't help myself. I was laughing at that trailer too and felt guilty as sin.
