HF, if you have the data to hand in your crypt of stats (and yes I imagine it has a hammer horror type creaking door). What is McLarens record at the clubs he's been at in last few years compared to the previous incumbent at those clubs ?? I think that would be a more appropriate comparison than Boro from 10+ years ago. What effect, good or bad, did Schteve have on clubs he was retained by.

Just watched Being Human, seasons 1-5, sounded incredibly naff as a concept (a Vampire, Ghost and Werewolf share a house) but frankly it was bloody excellent, good drama with laugh out loud and very subtle comedy moments. Another very good series the BBC made but killed off way too soon. Wankers.

In what circumstances would he not press the button ?? If he meant even in retaliation for a nuclear attack on this country he's a fucking buffoon, although we knew that already. Of course it's a deterrent, we certainly wouldn't use it pre-emptively but unless its part of a global disarmament, we should absolutely replace it. Maybe if we cut our foreign aid down to reflect the size of country we are now we could afford to replace trident over a few years for basically free. As an example, we pay Pakistan around £400Mill a year in aid, they have nukes and have just developed/deployed their own pilotless armed drone, there, amongst other places, would be a good place to start.

The so called "missing" cash is in the bank the expenses, and therefore profits, have been massaged for tax reasons we must presume. We're minted, no excuses, time to show it (if we stay up).

It's the hike in operating expenses that needs a good look at as they rose 26% (on what ???) that's £22Mill of the errant £28Mill(and Fish I think you do have to pay). It's the Op expenses that reduced the profit, would be interesting to see what the cash at bank figure is, maybe that hike was a book hike and the cash is still sloshing around (or maybe not!!).
