Personally, I really think he should.
-
Oh but he did and he got a one point "warning" from the mods for his troubles, murderous vermin was the phrase. Consider yourself tucked.
-
His "forcing" options are limited given he's got three years left on the contract he happily signed.

Turtley

Touch a nerve, did I ?

For £4 million with Ramsdale's experience, aye loads of them 🙄

The only really superfluous keeper is the greek and he was an accounting excercise, Dubs is 37, he'll leave. Ruddy and Gillespie have specific roles which are not related to striving to be a first XI keeper, except in dire emergency. We have two very serviceable keepers, one of whom is 9 years younger than our previous #2 and 6 years younger than our #1 and he has the potential to challenge for that top spot. As a £4 million "try before you buy" excercise it's very solid business. This number of keepers whining is pathetic.

I tend to agree on Eales, mainly for his red hot Mitchell disaster but don't agree on Silverstone, he's got a serious reputation and doubled our commercial revenue from 23 to 24, we don't know what the 25 numbers is yet. I just think if someone reputedly that capable is not doing something that seems a no brainer, there must be a good business reason.

Would EPL allow us 3x £5 mill as fair market rate ?? I dunno what the number would be 🤷♂️ Also suspect the EPL would look at renewal clauses and any associated escalators therein for FMR, either way they'd look to screw us and we seem intent on staying lillywhite on the rules for whatever reason. Alternatively we could just be grossly incompetent and ignoring some blindingly obvious ways to generate extra revenue. But I don't believe we are so am simply trying to reason why we haven't done the blindingly obvious.
-
We do but they'll be waiting for City case verdict I reckon, potentially could take any sponsorship from "fair market rate" to mental money.
-
I therefore withdraw my pure speculation and raise it to utter bollocks.
-
Pure speculation.

Jolly Roger's property emporium. If you've got the rooms, we'll make you dubloons.

That's the clubs rental agents.

There are very plausible reasons the Stadium/Training ground developments are not visible. Maybe they have done fuck all but that would make you wonder why they appointed pif's infrastructure blokey to the board, pretty sure he'll have loads of things he could be doing outside of NUFC.
-
Maybe they have and we won't know until the planning application goes in, they could be working the design/plans for all we know and that's not quick.
-
Thing is, a CEO isn't about day to day stuff, they're more about strategy and company vision, which stadium/training ground falls under, so I can understand the delays in that regard and the new guy needing his say. What else are we missing, only the DoF/sporting director and we are perhaps seeing the effect of that in our transfer woes, but even then it's the cartel who are fucking us over, it's not like it's the teams similarly kept down by PSR we're losing out to. All other facets of the club are fully resourced so there's not really any gaping void IMO. As for PIF, they're shareholders and not involved in day to day stuff either but where they have fallen down is in replacing Eales but as Rayvin says maybe they are taking their time to get it right (we hope) and equally they could be happy taking that time because Eales is still fulfilling his role. Not sure what the authorisation process is for a bid, that possibly could be convoluted but surely once a budget is agreed how it's spent is down to the club not the shareholders. If we make some signings all the noise will go away.
-
Absolutely nowt in that, apart from the senior club person patently telling him to fuck off when he raised the PIF not interested/neglectful bit. Yeah it appears (from the outside) a shambles at exec level but our focus on that is more a reflection of our window failures than owt else.
-
But we're not going to sell Pope, he doesn't want to leave. So given our current state dropping £40+ million on a keeper makes sense, aye? It's about priorities and a next level GK isn't one of those, yet.
-
"We're not financially capable yet" were the words I used. Dropping £40 mill plus on a keeper is out of the question just now.
-
Well the other viewer was one of the coaches and agent said club deal with everything, but who knows these days.
-
Well the club definitely paid the agent for Baheng rent/bills the lot, could have changed but a reserve/young player was put in a house and I was told "club pay for everything.
-
It's fucking massive inside

Cunt's lass' chihuahua had pissed all over the back bedroom curtains (not high up obviously) fucking stank, agent/club arranged cleaning etc. He'd also punched a dent in the main bedroom door, that was sorted too.
