  1. It was the 24th day of April today tbh.
  2. Well the way it stands we're going to have one central defender (Taylor) left at the end of the season. Can we really afford to bring in three centre backs, a right back, a left back, and another striker? And we also seem to be crying out for some creativity in centre midfield. In an ideal world Bramble should be shown the door, but this isn't an ideal world. Yeah but that would mean offering him a new contract, possibly meaning he'd be here for several more years, which would be a nightmare.
  3. I walked into the ladies toilets once by accident. Got caught outside but luckily there was nobody inside. I didn't realise it was the laduies toilets until after I left, though I did think it was a bit strange there were no urinals there. I'm such an idiot.
  4. Might have to stay with Newcastle fans instead, the poor guy.
  5. Yeah, If he carries on this form he should be in with a shout for an england call up. Aye, reckon we should put in a cheeky bid for him this summer?
  6. Tbh I don't care about some silly event that happened a couple of years ago. He's had a very good season and I hope he stays here next season.
  7. It's understandable, as he'll be playing for Man Utd next season anyway. Yeah, I bet you're excited.
  8. Well played Titus - great performance next year. Now good luck in finding another club foolish enough to sign you.
  9. It's understandable, as he'll be playing for Man Utd next season anyway.
  10. Martins, Butt, Solano. Should be shortened to "Given, Martins" tbh.
  11. Sima Looks like he's off to replace Van Der Sar next season then.
  12. They get to play 'diddy' teams and still move up places, how fair is that? Despite that, they were actually 6th around the World Cup time.
  13. Reserves just won at Middlesbrough 5-1. Andy Carroll first-half hat-trick tbh.
  14. South Africa win with only 30 overs left, knocking England out the tournament. It's no less that what they deserved. They started the tournament awfully and remained awful throughout.
  15. Nonsense by virtue it's true? West Ham and Watford anyway. Gillingham - only one season, finishing second-bottom of Football League, but didn't get relegated. Watford - 7th followed by relegation but sacked in Ferbruary. West Ham - 7th followed by relegation but wasn;t there when they were relegated. The brain tumour was unfortunate but they'd have been even worse off has Brooking not taken over for the last few games. So in fairness it isn't true, but the actual truth doesn't help his cause at all.
  16. So this is what it comes to - we fail to win the UEFA Cup, but the next target after that is to qualify for the InterToto Cup which we won't do now. Fear not, we'll still avoid relegation if it's any consolation.
  17. This is just the Premiership isn;t it? Drogba has only scored 18 of the 30 in the Premiership, despite being top scorer. Ronaldo could still pip him to leading goalscorer and he's a midfielder.
  18. It's actually nonsense that he's finished 7th then got relegated the next season for each of his clubs. The actual truth hardly does him justice though - in fact it makes him look worse.
  19. Is there anything positive the prick does well ? I used to think he's a "decent bloke" but I can't go as far as to say that now.
  20. He basically just digs himself a hole the more he speaks. Clearly no idea of how to handle the media.
  21. About an hour and a half ago tbh I know, but his form in recent games hasn't been great. Unless I am mistaken. He's hardly been lightyears better than Martins also.
  22. Berbatov has hardly scored recently tbh.
  23. Okay, let's just give up on him then. No, we should give him at least another ten years to work on his shooting skills (not to mention his heading and touches)... I have seen him strike the ball powerfully, but I admit he fluffs his shots up way too much. Similarly he's done some fine headers, but also some awful headers. So yeah, he's not a brilliant player and I've already stated he shouldn't be above fourth-choice. That however does nothing to argue with the fact he had an excellent 2006, so why not just build on that instead of assuming he's crap because he was five years ago etc?
