I've yet to have an acceptable reason why he's a load of rubbish. Since Roeder took over I believe he's scored at more than a goal every two games, including pre-season. This includes some important goals, and all with a hip-injury. Obviously not as good as Sibierski with his six goals in thirty-odd appearances I guess.

Make This Your Own by The Cooper Temple Clause, today for a tenner. It's a very good release but disappointed in comparison to their first albums imo.

No doubt there will be people who just won't say he's anything but rubbish. I think his goals to games record since the start of 2006 has been very good considering his injury.

His general play ahsn't impressed me tbh, but he seems to set a goal up whenever he comes off the bench.

I still think Hamster looks a little subdued and not fully fit, but it still seems a remarkable recovery. Great start to the series.

Luque going on loan to Chelsea for the rest of the season, SWP coming here. Don't be silly. We need Luque, which is why he didn't go to PSV. The only problem I've had with Luque recently is that his job of keeping the bench to good use (and warming it at that) has been very limited, as we have asked youngsters to do it. It becomes much less commercialised without the genius £9.5 million Spanish international that is Albert Luque.

I'd trust Wenger to know what he's doing tbh. There's no one better than him at introducing players to this country and bedding them in properly. He's probably right - just a bit confusing really. Wenger stated not long ago he needed to work on his fitness.

I would say he was hyped up too much over a year ago, but after the World Cup he was all of a sudden considered useless, which is an unfair judgment on his ability. He is a good player but the comparisons with Gerrard are daft. Gerrard is on a different level to him. I'm 6'3" and 15 stone. Beefed up a bit ready for getting back on the weights I appear lanky but hide it well. Unlike say, Peter Crouch, who I incidently weight the same as. Need to get back on the weights too tbh.
