This is, indeed, true. However, it wouldn't be any skin off my nose, since I like all sorts of music. In addition, we asked you to provide some lyrics to back up your deep and meaningful assertion, and the examples you gave just didn't do that. I think that is a matter of opinion. You can't be someone who knows everything when it comes to quality of lyrical content. I was going to add In My Darkest Hour, which is already up, which I think is an excellent example personally.

I have albums by most of those bands and i don't think you have a clue what you're talking about at all. Anthrax are one of the best metal bands ever, with thought provoking ltrics and excellent melody. To call them 'thrash' is simplistic and frankly just wrong. You know, I could easily go and find some awful lyrics from rock bands (seeing as rock is a whole genre, just like metal...), but that means nothing if I'm trying to prove that rock lyrics are terrible.
