Anyone who says Lampard is a pile of rubbish is ignorant tbh - how many midfielders score shedloads of goals a season?

I thought he would have enough intelligence to leave it as if is and also not say stupid things like "I wish I'd connected with Shearer when I swung for him", the moron. Shearer has stated on the tv, that off the pitch he has nothing but respect for Keane, so they should just leave it at that imo as I doubt Shearer really wants to beat him up (which he'd probably do quite easily).

Excellent stuff, now all we need is for Chirs Cornnell to reform Soundgarden and we can have two great bands back and never have to suffer the tripe that is audioslave again. Hopefully they will be as good as they were previously. As for Audioslave, I very much liked their first album, but as for the others, the less said the better tbh.

I'd consider giving Bramble a new contract, but the problem with that is he'd always play. He'd be okay as fifth or so choice.

It's transpired the bit in bold was meant to read "Carr actually had a fucking awfull start to the season costing us goal after goal with his pefeformances gradually getting worse until he was mercifully injured last year". To be fair, it wasn't Roeder who made that quote. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he did though.

He's awful - no future at Premiership level. That is, unless he stays here for several more years, which is likely.

I doubt you'd be saying Milner's crossing was shocking if Pattison had headed that very good chance in tbh. He's been playing very well this season imo (yeah, so not outstanding), and seems to be improving as the season progresses. His work rate has also been fantastic, and doubly so that it comes after being treated so awfully. I don't get why everyone whines at him so much - he's clealry been one of our best players this season.

If he signs a new contract now, it's not until the end of thie season, it's for the next several years. That would be several years of sheer inconsistency (playing like a joke in between each fine spell), just like the last four and a half years. Anyone who thinks a recent good run of form means he deserves a new contract is kidding themselves. He hasn't even been that good anyway - had been fortunate a few times having made silly mistakes recently.

They call him a forward, but he's scored only four times this season in all competitions, yet he's worth £9.65 million? I thought he was a winger actually.

I think he's managed the team well in the last couple of months, with all the injuries. The team spirit seems high and the players have been displaying great character. Of course, he should still be criticised when he deserves it.
