  1. I would have said him too. Also great how he always plays with a smile on his face. Looks like a monster when he bowls, but a great sportsman.
  2. Without disagreeing with your obvious opinion on the thread topic, I'm sick of hypocrisy from some non-religious people. Nobody seemed to complain a few weeks ago when people tried to get Christian Unions in universities banned. That's a ridiculous idea if ever I saw one.
  3. I only suggested him as no-one else has achieved much this year. You really are a twat. I'm unsure as to who deserves it, but Walliams is no way a ridiculous suggestion. Even if he's not a sportsman swimming the channel is one massive achievement. Sima's probably never gone further south than Leeds, and so thinks it's a little puddle seperating the two countries. There's my personal mongo comment. Anyway, if it's about "personality" then surely Monty Panesar. Murray has no personality, and even if it was about ability, then still unsure what he's done other than beating the world number three, in a Wimbledon second-round match, or whatever it was.
  4. Firewind - Falling To Pieces Saw them supporting Dragonforce last week. Good stuff.
  5. Just beggars belief how sickeningly cruel that is. I suppose it's also a form of abortion too...
  6. Doesn't Harmy have a reputation for getting homesick? I heard that his family have gone over with him to stop him feeling so homesick? I know Newcastle/Durham is a nice area, but howay i'm sure you can live away for a couple of months man! I think ive posted this before, but on his very first test for england he got flown home to hospital with a injury. He told the doc looking after him though that he had faked the injury cos he was so homesick. Hes a grown man for fucks sake! Hes only been out of the counry a week! needs to grow some balls tbh! Who told you this? Surely if it were true, he's had never played under Fletcher again, nevermind just the away matches.
  7. That's over a year ago. Still pretty horrid thought though. Dumb snakes can't eat something a little smaller.
  8. At least there's highlights on BBC2. Not that many would watch it live anyway. I couldn't even get Channel 5, so no cricket on TV for me last summer, and may well be the case next summer too.
  9. Actually, he's got depression hasn't he? He'll come back to it in years to come.
  10. Nothing much else to do after 5 olympic golds and 13 world titles tbh Could always win some more tbh.
  11. Why was your neighbour in your garden anyway?
  12. Uhh, I wore a bead necklace, which has just snapped.
  13. Not heard much of him recently, but "Gary" used to walk around the whole of the city drunk, using a range of different areas for drinking and sleeping, and often followed women home.
  14. Sorry to hear about your aunt. All the best.
  15. Speaks volumes. I hate the group, vastly overrated pop/ska punk which is AWFUL. The lead singer can't even bloody sing. Like Bowling For Soup tbh. I don't dislike punk, but the only punk band I really listen to is Refused.
  16. As Brock said, those who drop out don't have hope anyway, so this rule is a bit silly. Going on to fail all your A levels won't get you anywhere. I'm still at school (sixth-form), as most here would probably guess...
  17. Amazing to think some people STILL haven't gotten over an event that happened 19 months ago.
  18. Jut got to wait another six months before he actually is hanged tbh.
  19. He looks like a man under pressure, pale and ill. It's clearly getting to him. He looked on the verge of bursting into tears on MOTD. At least well done to him for being honest. He probably realies he's a shite manager. Doesn't make up excuses like a certain previous Newcastle manager.
  20. Maybe so but my man on the right of my avatar would easily beat yours I was all for Parker being the new captain but he was totally in the wrong the way he reacted today. I know, they both would. But it depresses me when I wonder when the next time we have a striker with the qualities of a fully fit Owen or Sheaer in his prime.
  21. Your avatar depresses me East Stander. And yeah, I doubt his credentials as a captain. He can't seem to lead the team, and rally them on when we're doing crap. Moore did a better job on Thursday I reckon - kept everyone on their toes superbly.
