Shearer was class 2003-04 - I think second top scorer in the Premiership. In fact in 2004-05 he was second highest scorer overall in England, though most of those goals came in Europe.

Love how everyone whines at him even after being in great form. He is used as a scapegoat and gets far more abuse than anyone else... just why? He can't even do something good without somebody complaining. "Should have taken it on his left foot", "Didn't place it firmly in the top corner", "Despite that he still played crap" etc. I'm not going to say he's good enough to carry on here because he tries hard, because he has the ability to do so.

You do know Bellamy isn't the only player of such ability? Why not want somebody who isn't an asshole at your club? Get over it. Souness is at fault for his departure, but if he had stayed here, we'd have had all sorts of problems, so don't say there wasn't reasons to back up his selling. It's clear he's happy at Blackburn, and he has the right man in Mark Hughes to look after him.

I don't think Chopra is technically that bad a player, but he won't score goals or be any threat to defence. Which means in short, he is not a Premiership standard player.

To be fair, Bramble had been playing awful earlier on this season. Which is a disappointment, judging how well he was doing last season. Hopefully he'll keep improving this time and people will learn to forget.
