Back on the original subject, Crouch is still a decent player imo - I can see him making a difference, but simply not scoring enough. He hasn't been a great signing though - very poor start, and on and off since then, but still not scored enough. As for Lampard and Gerrard, I'm sure the debate's been done to death - both are world-class. But Gerrard is undeniably the superior player overall imo.

Shame about the 50 penalties John Terry should have given away earlier on this season. Still, now it annoys me this happens.

Melchiot has been shocking this season. He's no Stevie Carr. Upson would be a good cheap buy, and Pennant could be the successor to Solano if Milner goes. Shame about his attitude though.

Benitez is so stubborn, he can't accept that Crouch wasn't a great buy, or even that he isn't actually that good.

Tbf, easily a better left-back than Konchesky and Warnock.

Why take Ashton or Beattie? Neither have scored in weeks. As for the left-wing, Joe Ciole should really start, but they need cover, and that should be Stewart Downing. Eriksson only loves Richardson so much because he scored twice on his debut. Not because he's any good.
