1. Bullshit tbh Parker's better than all the above ! He needs to get forward more its true though imo 108752 I am yet to see evidence of this.
2. I'm sure DotBum will continue his Christian references after every post I make...
3. 14 goals in 3 games... Crouch has 4 in 3 and involved in all 3 on Sunday. If he keeps up good form I'll have no problem with him on the plane to Germany.
4. How very Christian of you... 108456 Yup. Hence the subtle comment, that didn't quite work.. I think I gave up on telling people not to generalise. Used to hearing terms like bible basher etc..
5. Wasn't it that he was just running over to the cameras for his family to see, but the fans thought he was taunting him so they were abusing him, but then he starting taunting them back?
6. I'm sure all the thiefs found it funny watching him celebrate with himself.
7. I wouldn't be so sure. Parker for Newcastle has 1 goal (that he knew nothing about) and 1 assist - though I am aware he is a holding midfielder. Jenas has contributed to the team with 6 goals and a few assists too, and is looking more and more the player we'd hoped him too. Can't just say Parker everytime because he is consistent and always plays better, because Jenas' goals/assists have contributed to getting more points and wins than Parker's "he gives 100% and runs around like a headless chicken so must be class" contribution. Parker for England is not a joke, but Carrick at the moment, and most definitely Nolan I would prefer.
8. Pearce took over at City about a year ago, and they were just about the same position as they are now. As for Bramble, I think he could be a semi-reliable centre-half with good coaching and somebody to shout at him all the time. You wouldn't at all feel confident seeing him on the teamsheet, alongside Mark Lawrenson's aptly named biggest joke in Premiership football.
9. "With those players Jean, you aim this way, instead of the opposite direction and thinking lying on your ass works" Errr...okay that was poor, but I wouldn't mind him saying that.
10. Simply put he cannot defend. He never looked that good last year either - been poor since his debut against Yeading iirc. A "good" Boumsong performance tends to be one without any trademark comedy errors, which obviously doesn't mean he's assured.
11. Boumsong cost us enough goals - does he ever feel he's got to stop it? Too arrogant?
12. 4-3 then? Hat-trick for Dyer? Remember he's much better than Bellamy...
13. 34:03 GOAL - Steven Gerrard Newcastle 0 - Liverpool 2 Goal by Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) right-footed (bottom-left of goal) from centre of penalty area (18 yards).Newcastle 0-2 Liverpool. Assist (pass) by Peter Crouch (Liverpool) from left channel.
14. Okay DotBum, I'd have really like to put this thread behind me, and I wish I could have made the argument clearer. I may end up leaving this place anyway as it isn;t really for me. But I was saying this - the attitude towards Christians here, or anybody with a religion is very negative, but I feel also lacks an open-mind. Myself, knowing many Christians know the sort of people they are like, and it really confuses me that they should get so much abuse. I think it is fair to say it is part of the nature of most (not all) "true" Christians to be caring, decent folk. But because you see a picture of a lunatic fundamentalist (hate the world, but I'll use it here), people can easily be lead to the idea Christianity is comprised of stupid, annoying whiners who just want to shove their faith on people. And of course there are people like that. But what about the rest? You may find the idea of God silly and religion pointless, but they aren't doing anything to harm you. It's just like people who like witchcraft - maybe you think that's stupid but it doesn't affect you, so there's no need to worry. I was saying this because as a Christian, I come into close contact with them, so I know more on the matter of what they are actually like.
15. I've noticed a connection also with the BBC football and it's pundits or guests - Adams, Sharpe and now Merson. What are they trying to prove?
16. I could go on and on criticising that woman, for the way she is acting, but I didn't because I wanted to make my point about the moderates, that the fundamentalists are giving them a bad name. Of course, behaviour like that should not be tolerated. But then again when people talk about people trying to force others to believe in God, it's more a sign of showing care that that person takes the right direction in life. They may think it's rubbish mind, but are too cynical to accept the thoughts of that person. However that example with the crazy woman, is undeniably no way it should be done, if it had to be.
17. Well I know what they're like. Personally I find them all friendly and caring people, and none I know anyway, are in deserving of this criticism people here are giving them. It's too easy to see the negative sides of religion and the fundamentalists can make people have such bad opinions of the religion and its followers. All I see here, is people saying stuff like show me a Christian and you'll see a scared fool etc. Nothing recognising that they're just normal people, who happen to believe in something others do not. Why should such people get abuse? We can't even make sure this video is even real.
18. Nah, if I see somebody posting something that can be well argued, I shall make my point. It doesn't matter whether I was Christian, Jew atheist etc, my opinion still stands. Plus I happen to know many more Christians than any of you lot, so I think it's fair that I can argue against your comments.
19. Very typical, focussing on the negative sides of religion, when failing to use an open-mind to see the positive aspects. And I think it's a bit early to call this "proof" too.
20. Yeah that picture isn't actually funny anymore. In fact it never was.
21. To be fair he wasn't too kind on his mate after the sacking (regarding Boumsong and Babayaro), but he's talking crap again. So no suprises there.
