I agree about Enrique, I always thought he would be a good player. He is one of the best full backs playing in this country. I'm not sure personally, you would have to say that he was exposed in the PL repeatedly, but has improved markedly this season. It could be settling in, it could be age/experience, but if you ask me it's simply the lower standard of football.

I agree but think Harper is more than capable of playing top half top flight football. The big difference between the two divisions has been highlighted by John Terry's lack of form. Everytime he's jumped early for a header, or missed a tackle the ball has ended up in the back of the net, that doesn't happen in the Championship. We might have the best defensive record in the country at the moment, but that'll soon change in the top flight.
  3. The normal 2010 version. I assume that CM brought the game out early to get on the market before FM, thus Martins and Bassong were still at the club. As for being sheet. Did you not read the post, won the championship at the first attempt, then won the Prem at the first attempt. Having said that, it probably had more to do with the game being stupidly easy than anything I did. Having said that I'd take those four midfielders at the toon next season that's for sure.
  4. Named after the Scorer? Foluwashola Ameobi Stott I might push the wife for a middle name of my choice... Donald Fabriccio Stott Jnr.
  5. We could well win the league/secure promotion at Reading. That might be the greatest week of my life, see the toon win the league on the 14th April, my first born is due on the 16th April...
  6. FWIW - It's a studs down, genuine attempt to play the ball. That kind of tackle happens all of the time, it's just unfortunate for both players that this time it lead to a horrible injury. Without the injury it's probably a yellow card.
  7. the morale of the story is don't believe any shite you read in the Guardian The moral of the story is not to listen to journalists when they appear as a pundit. It's like a gob-shittery competition to try and con the average punter in to buying their paper.
  8. There are a few Mark I Raleigh Burners on Ebay with starting prices of £500+.
  9. Answered my own question, the Raleigh Vector had the computer, my best mate had one but wouldn't let me ride it, was heavy as fuck and very difficult to ride on any type of gradient.
  10. Was that the black one with the "computers" down the handlebars?
  11. They have to pay 10p in the £1 on debts. So they owe HMRC £750,000. The problem the owner has is that the club owes him a lot of money and by putting the club in administration, he won't get it back. Of course if the club goes bust he'll not get a penny.
  12. I heard that too. She enjoyed practicing so much she used to give out free bacon butties to anyone letting her indulge when she worked at the Quayside Cafe.
  13. It wouldn't surprise me if it was convenient for Cashley! He allegedly took naked phone photos of himself in a mirror, then gave the phone to a "friend". a.why are you taking pictures of yourself you weirdo? and b. Who the fuck allows a mate access to naked pictures of themselves???
  14. Apparently anyone can take an MOD charter there from Brize Norton, flies twice a week. Sounds like a decent holiday destination to me.
  15. Richard Dannett was on the radio this morning saying that we have a stronger military presence now than we did at the start of the 82 conflict.
  16. The fact that our back four is the best in all four leagues is either testement to Hughton's management accumen or a startling indication of the gap between the CCC and PL.
  17. Agreed! It gets worse every week. I lost interest about three series ago which means I've not been paying much attention, so now the answers are coming through they mean nothing to me. I spend the hour now asking the missus wtf is going on and praying that at some point Kate Austin is going to get her miniscule breasts out, I feel after the hours I've put in I deserve to see them!!
  18. Very intrigued as to why at Swansea he chose to play Fitz Hall ahead of Williamson. I presume that he felt Williamson was more at fault for the Derby shambles. He will not drop Nolan and imo nor should he.
  19. http://www.journallive.co.uk/north-east-ne...61634-23422394/ "A former chair of Oxford University Labour Club", that's a one man club if ever I saw one....
  20. Not going to have many Rajwinder's to persuade tbh. Nailed-on Labour seat. That's Chris Mullin's old seat (sort of). So it's safe as houses, come May 7th, she's taking home 60k and has her choice of whatever duck house takes her fancy!!!
  21. It's probably a rather cack-handed and narrow minded strategy dreamt up by the Betfair marketing team..
  22. I bought her a card, we went for lunch at The Ivy on Saturday and we weren't going to exchage gifts but given that she's up the stick I thought I'd get her some posh Belgium chocolates from a place just off Bond Street. She made me a card in return.. Divorce is immenent
  23. Without wanting to come over all AccaDacca, we have eight home games left and we could win the lot. 84 points has been enough for promotion in each of the last three seasons. Personally I reckon we'll get points in 6 of the next 8 away games as well.
