Can you name the top 200 Premier League goal scorers?
donaldstott replied to khay's topic in Newcastle Forum
I got 73 out of 200. I missed Wayne Rooney ffs!! I also missed two of the 100 club.. -
Tarrabt looks like a decent player. Ramage looks like he's got worse!

'Lawro' scathing about NUFC ???? You'll be telling me there's no Santa, next. It was mainly about thumping the ball up the middle. And he was spot on about Guti not taking on a novice right back. Not sure who Lawro's mate was but he called Pancrate "a French youngster" and Shola "incredibly popular on Tyneside"

Best Opposition Player You've Seen at SJP
donaldstott replied to snakehips's topic in Newcastle Forum
I was actually thinking about that match although I thought Riquelme was even better on the night. Thinking back to the Barca match, how about the one in '97? I know everyone raves about (with good reason) Asprilla's performance that night but IIRC Luis Enrique was immense for Barca and largely responsible for their fightback. Scored with his chest that night didn't he? Think so aye - class player in his day like. Remember us being linked with him at one point. Them were they days... I always felt that the ovation given to Fat Pat was the SJP crowd trying to persuade him that coming to SJP might be a good idea... Needn't have fucking bothered... -
aye well... maybe......... a couple of injuries, a run of bad luck and the mob could be breathing on our necks in no time I agree. There are one or two getting ahead of themselves here. We were in equally as strong a position earlier in the season. We then went on a run when we didn't win a game in four and they started breathing down our necks again. However as has been said keeping the back four together is key to winning promotion.

Best Opposition Player You've Seen at SJP
donaldstott replied to snakehips's topic in Newcastle Forum
There was a thing on the radio the other day about players who receive excellent ovations at away grounds. I seem to remember Fat Pat getting such an ovation when he played at SJP for Barca. Pobbibly the night they beat us two nought and he got one. -

Paranormal Activity - A poor mans Blair Witch. Some nice touches to try and maintain the realism, such as no credits. But not particularly scary. Nevertheless hats off to anyone who can make a movie that cheap and make it a world wide success. -
Spain at 7/2 looks like a knocking bet for the World Cup. Can't see anyone getting close to them to be honest.

As it stands Khisinisvilli and Simpson are due to go back to their clubs in Jan so getting in some cover is important. It might not necessarily mean that Colo/Taylor are out the door. From the .com piece Kilgallon looks the more likely. As for Robert, Fuck right off.

I've got a cat and it has the freedom to roam where it likes, however it generally lies against a radiator all day and only goes out to shit. It's easy to say dogs are better than cats, but given the choice I'd settle for an extra hour in bed rather than getting up to take a dog for a walk in the midst of winter...

This dude is a pleasant chap... http://twitter.com/sunderlandpride He slags off Bent for going public, he slags off Simon Bird for having the audacity to write an article about it. Further down his twitter page, he's encouraging various people to sign a petition to allow those involved in football related violence back in to the stadium of light.

Saw the second half, Collocini was immense...

Watched three movies over the weekend. My sisters keeper - During which I struggled to maintain my reputation for being a heartless, emotion-free bastard. It's a bit smultzy, but it is genuinely emotional. Looking for Eric - Which I really enjoyed, Cantona is fantastic, feel good movie. The Damned United - A bit of a football history lesson for me, but what became apparent was what a little twat Billy Bremer was. From what I've read and seen of Clough, it's difficult to believe he'd get that worked up about somebody else. -
Hope he's got a very good pre-nup...

Fuck me, I hadn't even realised Shola was in the side. I change my mind, relegation by early February. And I am literally his biggest fan...

I hear what your saying alex mate but i disagree... I think some of our players namely Nolan, Smith and Coloccini amongst others were suffering from a cripplingly low level of confidence and i think they as well of others will benefit greatly from this season. I could be totally wrong after all its just my opinion. Also i think we will end up bringin Simpson in on a permanent deal. Harper Simpson---Taylor---*Kilgannon---Enrique Kightly---Nolan---Smith---*Gutierrez Carroll---Shola I think that starting 11 would stay up....but its the squad that needs bolstering with able backups....Butt, Geremi, Lovenkrands wont cut it. *If we get him...if not then id hope that Coloccini can build on this season *Again i hope he can buil on this season, his running and energy are animportant weapon even if his final ball it gash....that said id be looking to get Joe Ledley as 1st choice Michael Kightly would be my number one target in the close season, quick, can beat his man and got a decent delivery on him too. That's a fucking shite first XI though in all honesty and it includes a player we have on load and two we haven't signed. It would either go down or just stay up. That's ignoring the fact that there's no cover. Alex what are you expecting mate? We have been relegated and our squad decimated....an owner with no money so what else can you expect? Im talkin about a team being good enough to stay up....not top half....stay up....a scrap.....no that side isnt great but its all we could hope for at best ffs I'm not expecting anything, you're the one saying that's a side that would stay up though. I don't think it would. That side would be relegated by late February.

Has he made a mistake all season? All I've seen is a very accomplished goalkeeper who has been more than a little responsible for having the 3rd best defence in English football.

In my opinion locality and family allegiance are the only valid reasons for supporting a particular team. After that I just think it bizarre. Spot on, and the family allegiance thing only applies if it wasn't bourne out of gloryhunting. You see debates on the internet, about who has the biggest national fanbase etc... It doesn't matter, has never mattered and will never matter. Liverpool's plastic support will disappear completely like it almost did in 2003, if they had THREE barren years. A clubs fanbase is the amount of people who are willing and able to go to games regularly only excuse being financial problems. On this score we're second or third in this country by a million miles. Having lived in Finland and Norway I can tell you the plastic scandinavian fans that have been described in this thread are a lot more loyal than you might think. I know Finnish fans of Stoke and Forest who've been supporting them since the 70s and just stuck with them through it. Their own league isn't up to much so along with supporting HJK or whoever they choose an English club in the hopes of seeing a team they support play good football, with good players in good competitions. I also know a die hard Ajax fan from Lapland who obsessively follows them since Litmanen's spell there in the 90's. As for Norway, there's supporter clubs for league 2 teams there, the likes of Leyton Orient actually have a fanbase there, god knows why. ...and less than 0.1% of these will go to more than five games a season. It really is just pathetic. In the late 90's there were a couple of relitively attractive Norweigan lasses came across to SJP for every home game. Not sure whether they still go like, but they were certainly dedicated at that time.

I would call our squad poor. It would need significant improvement just to stay in the league. If we hoped to be anything other than in a relegation scrap I honestly think that Taylor, Harper and Carroll are the only three players that should start in the Premier, and that assumes Carroll plays alongside a pacy goalscorer. As much as I've been impressed by Enrique and Colo they were routinely found out in the PL. The same can be said of Smith and Nolan, the rest aren't good enough.

Cumshots and other great questions of our Day
donaldstott replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in General Chat
Protein and Vitamin C to kick start the day... While on the subject of blowjobs, soccermom, have you ever gagged on a penis, you know, like you see a lot of in porns of today? Gagged so badly, that you make that distinct gagging sound, causing you to stop in your tracks and take his manhood out of your mouth, all the while having a teardrop or two streaming down your face?
