  1. I think Newcastle is one of the few places that people don't get particularly as offended by racist language, or language in general tbh compared to other PC hotspots like London. The tone of the accent makes it far less offensive then, for example, cockneys saying it. I'm still pretty sure " ye daft c unt" is a term of endearment in Newcastle.
  2. To see if it worked against "lesser" Premiership opponents perhaps? Otherwise, I divvint knaa.
  3. I reckon Dean Ashton should be a definite buy. Right after we sort the fullback problem.
  4. It's aaaaaaaaaaaal bollocks.

I'm sure Itunes is great, but I've got no need to try it out!

In which case, I'll be sure to look into it.

Basically I'm happy putting a £20 MP3 player in my USB drive and dragging and dropping what I want to listen to rather than fucking about with new software.

Because there's perfectly adequate software on there already. Why would I want to change all my happy WMA's? And why should I have to get used to a whole new program when I'm happy with the way Windows deals with it already?
  9. That's game over there lads. Tsk. Bloody Grossman.

I don't like ipods either. I don't want to have to run Apple software on my PC. Media player is quite adequate for me thank you very much.
  11. The collar's quite nice as well. But I'm REALLY trying to clutch at straws for positives here like.
  12. Shocking. Dawson needs to come to the Toon though like. Tidy player.
  13. And his arms make young women weep. With joy. And young men cry. In awe. If he fucks his career in "soccer", I'm pretty sure Vince McMahon might give him a ring. Brick. Shithouse.
  14. Ha. Well said that man.
  15. Harper's the man to sort the problem I tell thee.
  16. The gold umbro design's a nice touch. Otherwise, it's nowt special. The away shirts are always nicer anyway
  17. Got a tenner on the Bears to make it interesting.
  18. Ex-Italy international. If I was Champ Man I would refer to him as an "explosive full-back". But I'm not, so I'll just say that when he's healthy, he's mint.
  19. Aye it was. Admittedly, hardly of Premiership standard but fuck me, he played out of his skin. Really looked like he wanted it.
  20. At the Man City trial, yeah. What about at ours?
  21. 23.01.2007 Internazionale defender Francesco Coco has denied a poor attitude was the reason behind Manchester City aborting his trial last week. Coco travelled to England for what was intended to be a week's training with the Premiership club, but he returned to Italy after only two days with reports in England suggesting that poor behaviour had led to the early departure. "It's an incredible lie," Coco said in Gazzetta dello Sport. "I am a serious professional, educated and respectful with others." The former Italy international, who is looking for a new club after spending last season on loan with Livorno, said football reasons were the problem. "I left Manchester on good terms with the coach (Stuart Pearce)," he said. "When they told me that City could use my services, I asked Inter's permission to travel to England for a couple of days. "It didn't work out because the coach wanted to use me in a different position to what I am used to, full-back. "After two days we realised that there was no point in wasting time as they already have two players in my position." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If Coco is, indeed, telling the truth, is it not time we tried looking at him again in the next transfer window? I mentioned in another thread that I thought he was brilliant in the friendly he played for us. Does anyone know what happened after his trial? Was it attitude-related again? And if not Coco, who may be a liability if the rumours are to believed, then who is going to fill this gaping hole we have at full-back come the end of the season?
  22. Solid, calm, and I reckon he was pretty much the reason that Bramble stayed on the pitch. He clocked that Bramble was in bother and flew back to defend as the last man, meaning Bramble wasn't when he fouled the Fulham lad.
  23. That's a scary prospect. An English player In Arsenal's team, that is.
