  1. I very much enjoyed Pirates. Newsround 1 Pretentious 'more mature' reviewers 0.

How long did it take you to set up, Laz?
  3. 91-2. Cook (42) out to Gayle just before lunch. Vaughan 25 not out and looking pretty good from what I've seen.
  4. PotC has been absolutly slated in the reviews ive read - they started shooting when they hadnt even finalised the script. Blatantly need to start watching Newsround tbh.
  5. Yes, that Newsround. I love the way they tell the news - actual quote: "Saddam Hussein is a bad man". Read my last post in a kid's voice and it all makes more sense.
  6. The Newsround report said that POTC 3 is a good film although not as entertaining as the first and it does get a bit gorey in places.
  7. One of my friends is leaving and I want to make her a compilation of songs. I've got a few songs that we've shared over the years but I want a few suggestions for farewell tracks. I don't want anything too lovey-dovey (for that was not the nature of our relationship) or slow and teary (although a few of those wouldn't be disastrous). I'm not near my CD collection at the moment so I'm struggling to come up with a whole album's worth. Any suggestions? Obviously, Rachel Stevens' Nothing Good About This Goodbye will be on there, probably kicking things off.
  8. I'm not in Aberdeen at the moment so I have no idea what state the flat is in. One of my flatmates is in Switzerland leaving only the messy one with dodgy sleeping patterns there. Should be interesting... We don't move out 'til the end of August but the owner wants to find someone to take over the lease before all the students go on holiday. Can I use one of these 'text applications' or do they cost money?
  9. I was on the phone to stronachs today. Me too! They called me at 9.50 to let me know they've arranged some viewings of my flat. Did you arrange a viewing of my flat?
  10. I can't really decide. I think I switch about and use both. Although I'm quite tempted to start pronouncing it '50 Cent' to avoid any confusion.
  11. I've just had a text from my solicitors and it came up automatically with 'Stronachs' instead of just a number. I've had this happen before with other companies too, how do they do it? Is it possible for me to make my messages come up with a name that I want when I text people?
  12. I was walking past a (high) school today at around home time - completely innocently - and noticed two of the older students walking towards me with their trousers rolled up and blouses folded up to reveal as much flesh as possible. I decided I'd go to the far left of the pavement to walk past them, because that was the side of the hotter one, but just as I got to optimum eyeing-up range there was a tree in the pavement that I had to walk round. Disaster! I made up for that with a 'sneaky' backwards glance to check them out. They'd done the same thing. This was the best.
  13. Who's Mick? Mickey Owen. I think he missed out the word 'cheer'.
  14. But then they'll sing 'We've got Titus Bramble, he's better than Sol Campbell' at us.
  15. 1. I'm visiting my parents for a few days. 2. They're already doing my head in. 3. I'm going to see Girls Aloud for the third time in 11 days on Friday. 4. It's going to be amazing. 5. I'm going to play my first game of cricket in about 3 years tonight.
  16. Why did you paint your body with a wig?
  17. They weren't in the back of the van, though. The viewer was made to think they were but only the complete spastics continued to believe this after Carmella explained to Elle how they had to go back (away from the van) to pick up some herbs Oliver had dropped.
  18. Ever since Curbishley took over at West Ham I hoped that meant Konchesky would be out of the door. For less than £1m I think he's worth going for.
  19. Now you can watch Sky on Sky! Ho ho! And Rosie is a saysbian (my new favourite word - thanks, Pepper!) not a lesbian. There's loads of sex/talk of sex nowadays. It's moving with the times.
  20. Most people stop watching it because they don't get home in time after work to see it. If they choose their time carefully they can get a lot of fans back Of course, if they mess around too much they might lose a lot of the student audience.
  21. Are you deliberately choosing to ignore Neighbours and Hollyoaks?
  22. 40 caps too many IMO. They had a break down of his success on 5 Live yesterday. They listed his average and the number of wickets taken in 10 match periods. 1-10, 21-30, 31-40 and 41-50 he took about 30 wickets at 30-35. 11-20 he took just under 60 at about 19. Probably about 30 caps too many. Wasim Jaffer is rubbish. First player to get a pair against Bangladesh.
