  1. Haha, they've added a karma thing now - brilliant addition if they want more numerous and longer shagfest/bickering threads
  2. Laughably pathetic even by internet standards, I like most the mods over on N.O, but this makes them look like a right bunch of pillocks.
  3. BlueStar

    Nintendo DS Lite

There are some homebrew browsers for it as well I think.
  4. Anyone else read the thread title to the tune of "When a man loves a woman"?
  5. Clerks 2 - Ace, best film I've seen in a canny while like
  6. I'd have liked us to buy a few promising championship strikers as squad players, someone with a bit of hunger who could come in when we were stretched with injuries or whatever and show us what they could do. We should have really done this ages ago though, with the foresight we were going to lose Shearer. Of course, now it's too late to take a gamble on someone with potential because we need them to produce straight away and we won't have any other options if they don't. Which means we're going to have get a proven striker, probably over-priced and past his best anyway. That's if we can even get one of those.
  7. Another matrix/pyramid scheme. Of dubious legality, mathmatically fatally flawed and lead to loads of spam clogging up everywhere (If you get 15 people signed up, do they get to make another 15 threads on here spamming for their referrals?) Plus how do you know it "works", have you got your PS3 yet?
  8. Yeah, longest queues I've seen for a canny while like. Not helped by people without two brains cells to rub together, dunno how some of the people there yesterday managed to get themself dressed in the morning.
  9. PC: Prey, Tiger Woods 06 GC: Chibi Robo DS: Trauma Centre, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! GBA: Phoenix Wright 3 (Japanese version with the first case translated) Prey looks awesome in terms of graphics, but unfortunately sticks you in the most generic, done-to-death setting of the same old semi-organic alien space ship containing hell demons overseeing the productionline slaughter of humans. There's more variety in the 5 minutes you're in the bar area at the beginning than in the whole rest of the game. Sigh.
  10. Hasslebaink and Viduka fail the fat-cat test at the first hurdle
  11. Texted this to a mate about 2 years ago when it first did the rounds and she believed me.

    Car trouble.

Lost interest in driving after 10 lessons, so at least some blokes are as clueless about cars as topless.
  13. Why on earth wasn't this the lead story on the news tonight? Killer kangeroos AND demon ducks of doom in the same story and they go with some crap about Tony Blair's marra getting his collar felt...
  14. Yeah, the effects were nowt special, but then he didn't really use his powers very much so there wasn't much call for them. There's a sort of twist thing which will make you cringe and leaves the way open for an awful sequel. Oh, and he does an almost carbon copy of The Hulks bounding across the landscape thingy right at the start
  15. Should maybe elaborate a bit, I don't think they mean him to come across as a bellend - at least not in the way he does. I could be wrong, but it seemed like when they were trying to make him masculine he just seemed like a spoilt, arrogant womanizer, when he was supposed to be sensitive and caring he came across like a whiney self-pitying littlle girl and when he was supposed to be deep and meaningful he just sounded like a pretentious wazzock. And the different ways he seemed like a bellend from scene to scene didn't give the impression of many facets of a complex personality, but more like he was just a disjointed and badly fleshed out character. I'm not the kind of person who automatically slates new hyped films, but it just didn't do much for me and dragged on. It wasn't awful, just... meh.
  16. Apparently so - I'm sure some comic geek can correct me here, but I think certain comics superman appeared in were a bit more tounge in cheek than others, like the Lois Lane comics.
  17. Superman is a bellend 158779[/snapback] You're right http://www.superdickery.com/dick/1.html
  18. Superman Returns - 4/10. Needlessly long considering hardly anything happens, me and my girlfriend lost the will to live by the end of it. Could have been about an hour shorter if everytime something fell or flew we didn't get about 5 minutes of slow motion close-up footage of it, and if there wasn't a 20 second reaction shot after everything anyone said or did (Along with people standing around at the end of each scene like they left the camera rolling by accident) . Also, Superman came across as being a bit of a bellend. The drawn-out, pointless meandering reminded me of The Hulk quite a bit. There were a few highlights, like how they work in the manditory "It's a bird! It's a plane!" line, and some of Kevin Spacy's moments (Like his Kenneth Williams style exclaimation of "Krrrryptonite!"), but overall, mediocre.
  19. Some jamacian reggae bloke I can't for the life of me find out the name of. Think the song's called "Don't drink too much if you can't take it, maybe you should smoke marijuana instead". Think he must live in the UK, cos of all the references to pubs and tandooris.
  20. I'm only being a cynical little twat It's not that old, I am impressed someone converted it to jpeg from cave paintings though.
  21. Must have let a lass park it.
