  1. Right, so 59 views of this topic and no-one has a single opinion about this. Find that hard to believe. Fuck yers all!
  2. Ooh get you mr. sunshine! Nah but seriously I am confident of a decent to fair go in the league and have been for some time because most of the teams involved are plodders and sludge. Our unbeaten run at the end of last season showed that even with the also-rans and dead wood littering our team most opponents that were beaten were beaten quite comprehensively, highlighting further how much better we all could have felt if FSA had just attaaaaaacked! It also shows what can happen when the KK effect kicks in even just a little bit. Not that these teams haven't improved themselves over the summer, it's just that I think they haven't improved enough. And if these signings (Spidey and Colo) go through like we think they will, then we'll have improved that little bit also. Not shitting ourselves when the African Cup of Nations wheels itself around would be a good indication of this. That, sir, is where my (however misplaced) optimism comes from. I thangyew! COOOOOOOMMEE OOOOOOOONNNN!!!
  3. I would imagine it's pulling the strings in front of the back four a la Guardiola, Hierro, Redondo, etc. rather than playing 'in the hole'. Assuming it's not bollocks. sounds like we could spark an 'is viana a defensive midfielder' type debate if that is the case If it means Butt getting dropped then it's all good. I beg you pardon??? Butt was our better players for the last 2 seasons. Wash ye mouth out with soap, heathen!
  4. Have you seen the Premier league's 3pm kick-offs on saturday? What a disappointing mess of mediocrity and slops! Something's got to be done about this! Thanks to Sky and Setanta messing around and getting appealing fixtures moved it renders the big opening day of the season a turgid uninterest-athon. Jeff Stelling will of course try his best to liven the events up and I'm in favour of having one or two matches moved to a sunday so as to not render the day of rest completely depressing but it's getting ridiculous. Lunchtime kick-offs? 5:45 starts!? Ugh... Here's to Saturday then. I'd like to see a full line-up just once but I'm not holding my breath.

  10. Aye and useful with a light sabre if Star Wars is to be believed. Not that useful if Iain McDiarmid can blast him with force lightning and chuck him out of the senate win.... I've said too much.
  11. Think the thing with the shirt was MA saying "'s alright. He's coming." Can't think what's taking so long, though.

  18. I liked that strip. Seconded
  19. ...and who still owns them? Mate of mine bought every single one that came out. I always thought they were a waste of space.
  20. No, tapping up is making direct contact with a player (through various channels) without going through the correct procedures. The right way to do it is for the club interested to speak directly to the club who has the player. The club with the player would then decide whether or not they would allow said player to talk to the interested party. Oho! Shoulda known that. Cheers marra!
