Surprise, surprise.. Stephane Mbia is going nowhere
Craig replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Getting fucking fed up of the complete bollocks they keep feeding us. I'm failing to see what his mandate is by doing so. -
Ashley to address fans at end of transfer window
Craig replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
We did have a couple of years ago (probably pre-Ashley) - a lad I know who used to work for the Shields Gazette - I don't know if he's still there Graeme Courtney was press officer at the end of Keegan's era. He's now a commentator/regional reporter on Talksport and his views on NUFC's current state are quite damning. -
Albert Luque looked decent on a YouTube vid man...

NUFC lie about Lucas Neill approach according to the Hammers

FWIW, the original quotes did say that JFK had approached his agent and not the club. -
NUFC lie about Lucas Neill approach according to the Hammers
Craig replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
He's free to talk to clubs about a move in the summer when he isn't contracted to any club any more, but normal rules apply for immidiate transfers, i.e. a club having to purchase the player's registration from another club, don't they? Exactly what I thought. Nothing to stop anyone talking to Neill at the moment - but it'd be about a move in the summer. Plenty of press were reporting that Owen can 'talk to others' now. -
To appease us, they're allowing us a couple of extras free...

NUFC lie about Lucas Neill approach according to the Hammers

Whilst it's all evidently bullshit, I don't know what West Ham are getting on their high horses about with regards to anyone making an approach to him. He's out of contract in June and therefore surely eligable to talk to other clubs as he's in the last 6 months of his contract? -
Thought it'd be the 118d. Will still do for me though. The 3 series will be well outside my permissable rental band though (allowed up to around £21k from a list of vehicles they decide).

Ashley to address fans at end of transfer window
Craig replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
That was always my argument from day one. I wasn't particularly arsed that KK went as I never believed he'd reach the heights of his first managerial stint, it was more the mess that was left behind. Too many people people have gone on record saying they won't play or work for NUFC under the current regime. Those people will still have that opinion IMO - if we weren't isolated as it is by a lot of people's reluctance to move so far north to play or work, the management setup has pushed us even further away from the mainland. -

Why the fuck do they feel the need to disclose the bid? -
Is that a 'Microsoft Windows Powered' sticker in the corner? Jesus you'll be halfway to your destination by the time it's booted up!

Why wait until the end of the transfer window? I'm fucking sick to death of this club waiting until the end of windows before conducting their affairs. It's too fucking late man! -

Yep - been reported on the BBC ticker now. Also confirm we've enquired about Lucas Neill. -
You can get a Golf or an A3 with a 1.9TDi engine that comes under that limit. I've got the 1.9TDI Audi A3 at them moment - comes in at 134g They do have a Golf but it's the 'Bluemotion'... If anyone's driven one (I have) you'll know why that's not a good idea. Looks like they've put the Bluemotion set up in the A3 to get it into a lower tax band? http://campaigns.direct.gov.uk/actonco2/ho...cient-cars.html EDIT: I think VW also do a 1.4 TSI petrol engine for the Golf (and the Seat Leon) which comes into the lower brackets but there is a waiting list for them. Might not be sub 130 anyway. The 1.4 TSI was what I was after before they brought in this legislation. Sadly its CO2 is massive - 169 g/km for the 140PS model and 174 g/km for the 170PS model! The second BMW is nice KD, but I ain't a director...

If that's on my grade list, it's most certainly a possibility. What spec of 1 series is that one?

A left back, Joe... that's LEFT back!!! Lucas Neill has a track record of being sent off and leeching extraordinarly high wages. Hate to see it but he'll fit right in here Another disadvantage is that Halliwell will cream himself if this comes off... -

Tested the pause ability of many a VCR I'm guessing...

We've had a change in company car policy - all going green and nothing with a CO2 over 130 will be allowed to be ordered. Toyota Prius' all round then....

Is that lager in a Guinness glass? Sacrilegious!

What difference does it make? The plastics will just buy a different shirt and will have being going to City ''all along'' and suddenly they've ''always been a big club'' . Etc etc. tbf it's a bit like us in the mid 90s when the south was full of people who'd 'suddenly' become Newcastle United fans... Oi, I'm still here. I'm talking about the plastic cockney wankers I came into contact with when I went to Uni. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the same tossers were presently swapping their Chelsea shirts for Citeh ones.
