It's all gone a bit spastic down here this morning - the roads around Heathrow are grid-locked

Like he was at karting you mean? (still is, in fact). 171753 Barrichello would kick his arse at karting by all accounts....
-
You ever gonna spell his name right Rob?

James Allen creaming himself at the chequered flag was excruciating enough. Does the man have no shame? 171566 I refer you to the campaign on http://www.sniffpetrol.com 'The Cock' needs fucking shooting tbh

Two year loan isn't it? They can take him back after the first season if they want to. 171665 OK Peasepud, Mr Taxman correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the tax fudge of the fucking century? He's signed on a free transfer but Chelsea have an option to take him back after 12 months - therefore it's effectively a loan. Yet because he's transferred he's officially NOT a Chelsea player any more and they therefore don't have to pay any ERs NI on an expensive employee?? Fucking right sham going on there IMO!

shut up and get back to work, you're not allowed a break until Wednesday, and this time its 15 minutes dont forget not the 17 you took last week. 171716 *mumbles incomprehensible jibberish* walks to the coffee machine. 171719 coffee machine??? who installed that shite???? Craig get rid of that now it only makes them want a toilet break 171720 Peasants were revolting man, they threatened not to post unless it was put in!

I have major strops when things don't work right first time, although I'm getting better with age. The amount of times things got thrown across the other side of the room out of sheer frustration were too many to count. And my 4 year old does just the same!

No fear Wullie, none of us want another board war either and I'll think you'll find that is not the point of any derogatory comments anyone has made. We were just saying at the piss up how glad we all were that the board wars were finished with and how you guys felt you could come on here and post at ease. I think the main point certain people are trying to point out was that it was the desire of a certain person to mess with the natural continuity of the forums which ended up pissing a lot of people off and ultimately led to this place being set up. It is IMO a moderator's job to step in when someone has over-stepped the mark, not to pre-empt them doing so and in the course of which, scutinise everyone else while you're at it. Sure there's the odd snide remark about the quality of some threads over on N-O but I'm sure there's the odd one mentioned about ours from time to time. You have a high amount of members who do some quality posting and never likely to post crap, a lot of which never come anywhere near this place which I'd love them to do and if I was in their shoes, I'd seriously feel put out by your actions. This is not a snipe BTW, it's a genuine unbiased comment. Put yourself in your posters shoes and try to imagine how you'd feel if suddenly everything you post is scrutinised.

'Going Underground' by The Jam shirley? And how about 'Fire' by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown?? That has to be in there for the opening line alone!
-
True, but then we don't have the in depth strength that they do... For all their lack of traditional centre-forwards, their side is built around 5 players IMO: Cech, Terry, Makelele, Cole, Lampard Our equivalent is: Given, Bramble, Parker, Duff, Emre I think two of that core need to be improved for us, but then of course a striker is more important and needed more.
-
You're spot on unfortunately - the press are gonna cream themselves over this and sadly, his equipment is not quite up to regular race wins.....yet! Take nothing away from him as a driver though - he's one of the best there is, just isn't immediately obvious to a lot.
-
Absolutely cracking race it was too - totally deserved. Shame that Alonso and Schumacher retired because he was beating both of them fair and square on the track and you know damned well that the doubters will say that he only won because they dropped out.... Raikkonen is a different matter though, I think he'd have won it had he not run into the back of Liuzzi. Hopefully the floodgates will now open and give the Brits something to cheer about.

I think Ashton adds more. Crouch's height offers us a target on set pieces and long balls but little else. Ashton is IMO, the nearest thing the English game has seen to Alan Shearer..
-
I'd have Ashton over Crouch in either Newcastle's or England's team any day of the week....

I think we've seen the best we're ever going to see of Shola - however I don't think we can say the same of Luque and for that I've gone for the Spaniard. If Luque can recapture the performances he was putting in for Deportivo, we'll be laughing...
