OK, the driver home re-kindled another pet hate of mine on the roads.....foreign lorry drivers! A lot of you won't know but recently they've widened the M25 and between J13 and J12, it's 5 lanes wide. 3 of the lanes continue on the M25 and 2 of them filter off to become the M3. They're put some roadworks in just after J12 and consequently, the traffic starts building up in lanes 3, 4 & 5 but is generally free-flowing in lanes 1 & 2. Tonight was particularly bad congestion. Consider a line of traffic travelling at about 50mph (no speed restriction in place I might add) in lane 2 which I am a part of (and yes we are overtaking traffic in lane 1 before you ask!). Approaching J12, not 1, not 2 but 3 fucking foreign lorries who have been hammering it along at 50mph suddenly slam on the anchors and indicate to move into lane 3 (which is backlogged with traffic already)!!! Fuckers are gonna cause a fatal accident one day soon and t6he thing is they know they can flash through speed cameras and be pulled by the old bill without a care in the world because very little can be done with non-UK registered vehicles. Perhaps we should all import foreign cars...... :) :lol:

Anywhere where lane discipline is required seems to cause them massive confusion to be honest. I was giving a woman directions once and told her to to cross over a roundabout. "which lane do i need to be in" she asked me. "The one that has the arrow painted in the direction you want to go" was my response. "Oh I don't look at what's painted on the road, I normally just guess..."
