I hate this phrase. It's absolute nonsense. Of course nobody would be happier. But it is about the standards of a squad you have at your disposal and what you make out of it. If you have good players and play "pretty" football good results are inevitable, especially against inferior teams. Good football is not excluding good results. I think a midfield of Solano, Parker and Emre with Michael Owen up front shouldn't be happy with struggling against very poor opposition. Often we played 'pretty football' under Keegan and ended up losing by the odd goal so no, good results do not always follow.... Not too far away from the mentioned 4 wins, against poor teams, all of whom had grounds for feeling they at least matched us, or looking at it the other way round, we were as bad as them. Thanks to the good sense of keeping a backup of the forum and also to Gol for finding out that a restore would fix things, the arcade is now back up and running... Apologies for the downtime - we now need to look towards taking measures to stop it happening again.

Some of you will have already noticed the arcade is a little bit sick. Having checked through the code, I've absolutely no idea what's caused it and even less how to fix it. Suspecting it could be a spyware / hacking attempt, I placed a support call with the people who wrote the mod and they suspect the same. What's more they've found some encrypted strings which point to a Russian website. So unfortunately for the time being, the arcade will not function properly. It may require a complete re-install (sorry to those of you who will lose their high scores) but it could come down to either that, or no arcade at all..

Gol fixed the forums, we know the arcade is still knackered. Not sure what the hell happened and it affected other forums running on the same server (the arcade is still shagged on those too). Can't say for definite but I'm thinking towards a hack/spyware...

Depends who you're wanting to hide it from, if it's individuals then it can be done of sorts (i.e. it can be made to look something different). A bit of digging around by who was looking for you would find you out but then most people would believe the IP return so would not look any further into it... If it's the authorities, forget it - if they want to know who and where you are, they already know before you even think about covering it up!
