  1. So, hating ethnic minorites isn't enough for you, you're starting on kids as well these days!
  2. Sounds like i'm the only other person around before the Brum game! Since i work late its not worth going home so i'm always around before midweek matches.
  3. Yeah theres a couple of them bleating on about it. It was very simple, he knew Lennon was past him and did what 9 out of 10 defenders would do and fouled him. He knew it was a yellow as did the ref and everyone who has any knowledge of football, which of course rules out most Spurs fans. A cynical (professional) foul. I just knew Papa L. would like it. I wasn't too sure about the position where it was given away, but I actually liked the way how was Hunty doing it and reacting afterwards. Fully aware of what he was doing tbh. Yes, it was my kind of foul, the sort that have to be done if you want to win games, and then its up to the ref to punish them, which he did correctly. Nobby is also excellent at the old cynical foul, usually near the half way line to stop certain breaks!
  4. I actually think you may be right with that. That's not to say he doesn't deserve a lot of credit for the way he's handled the injury situation. By the way, we know that Carr and Babayaro are a pair of useless mercenaries, but what the hell is wrong with Duff? Since he came back early from his injury it seems to have put him way back and he's now missed more games than if he'd been out for the full length of time originally planned.

Nobby's foul was technically worse as he caught the bloke on the achiles with his studs, but it was still a yellow as well!
  6. Hard to say i suppose as i don't actually watch that much football not featuring NUFC at all. And some of our earleir home games this season were amongst the worst i've seen in a long while with the balem shared between us and our opponents!
  7. There's definitely been a glut of spectacular goals, often screamers from way out. But the standard of the prem and the standard of entertainment has been getting worse and worse as more teams copy the defensive, pack midfield, foul and spoil method favoured by Bolton, Everton et al.
  8. I liked it after fulltime when they showed the players heading to the tunnel and Huntington had a particularly smug/cheeky grin as he left the pitch!
  9. He'll get the No. 99 shirt though... Does that mean they'll have to break Howards arm to let him play? I'll do it! You racist!!!
  10. Out of it totally the kid, overweight and can't pass piss & wobbles like a weeble Going by the commentaor's mention of names during the plays you'd have thought Pattison wasn't even there, I think his name was mentioned once in the second half. He just hasn't got it! It did seem that we had nothing down the left, often players would belooking for the pass and nobody was on the left. Now that may not be all Pattison's fault if he was following instructions, but he doesn't really seem to offer anything.
  11. Somebody connected to Everton (i guess at board level) was involoved in Planet Hollywood with Stallone et al and invited him to a match! According to one of the local papers we've invited Stallone to the Newcastle premier of Rock Balboa, not so sure he'll make that though!!!
  12. Excellent effort by a team down to its bare bones, showing a hell of a lot of character. Special mentions for Butt who had been down with flu but fought for 90 mins and finished a great move with a lovely finish. And Martins, what a shot, i still can't believe it now! It was justice done after the cheating linesman and/or ref had blatantly seen Chimbonda commit what they know under the rules to be a straight red and yet ignored. As usual people will come out with the bollocks that we didn't derserve it or Spurs should have won. But football is about scoring goals and not conceding them, playing well for 90 mins and domintating isn't worth shit and if you don't take your chances (or a keeper saves them) and the other team do then you get exactly what you deserve. The fact we've pissed of the Spurs fans and the people in the media who reside up their arse is just a fantastic bonus!
  13. Good, but not as good as the top players in the PDC. I think the main problem with the split is that anyone who wins at the Lakeside, deep down knows in a way they aren't outright world champion as they haven't faced Phil Taylor and unless you beat him there will always be that doubt.
  14. Crouch is about to say: "While you're down there!"
  15. Enjoyed the match, and well done to the bloke, but he should lose his friend who seems like a bit of a tit!
  16. Don't think so,it looks years old to me,i aint even got a garden shed yet,and i've been here over 25 year?my garden shed has been here for at least 24 Well, maybe different area's are updated at different times. Last time I looked at this there was a car on my drive that wasnt mine (Ive been here 3 years). But its changed, and I can see changes thats been done since I got here. Gateshead btw. Think the one of my area is pretty up to date based on things i could see that haven't been present that long.
  17. Peter Sallis? You can't kill him! I think time will take care of that soon enough! I was reading somewhere that Peter Sallis did the voice for Wallis initially as a favour to a student who was working on a small animation project, without asking for any payment etc. Then years later Nick Park contacted him and said he'd finally finished his work. A few years down the line and Sallis will have made a fair bit of money from royalites etc. and all because he helped somebody out years before!
  18. Sadly that is the way it is at the moment, we can't afford to let him go without having a striker lined up be it buying outright or on loan. Also i suspect they were going to pay too small a fraction of his wages for Fred to accept.
  19. I didn't excuse it, i said what i think is the reason he did it (if he did) which is his temper and not thinking, rather than being a massive racist and said either way he has to be punished if its proven. But theres a big difference between being a racist and being stupid and once he's served a ban (should he get one) it could well be important to his manager and his black collegaues which one he is! Aye he's got some explaining to do. I wasn't specifically talking to you by the way, you crazy dwarf! He clearly loses it completely when his temper goes, but that's no excuse. What he needs is for someone bigger than him to give him a fucking great big slap when he has one of his tantrums. He might stop acting himself. Can't help there i'm afraid!

  21. And about 10 rugby players every week then too I would imagine. I agree with you about Thatcher though, the lad is a thug and has done the same thing before, even though it was to a mackem, he's a horrible little cowardly shite. But as I first said, why does it seem that rugby players in a full on fight in front of a stadium crowd and live on telly never seem to get punished at a similar level? Agree that Thatcher should have got at least what this bloke did as its far from the first time he's tried to seriously endager somebodies health and if he'd done it away from sport he'd have been locked up like the obnoxious little cunt he is. But also agree that its always footballers who get serious punishment when the likes of rigby and ice hockeyy see the same or worse with nobody getting the treatment footballers do. Look at Bowyer having to go to court for the Dyer incident, when that happens every week in ice hockey! Football is a more lucrative and high profile sport so it's not really surprising. The players are paid so much because they're in the limelight, they can hardly complain that if they do things like this they recieve more attention. They might recieve more attention, but that's nothing to do with the law and to make footballers an exception to other sports is completely wrong, even though many of them are spoilt pricks and morons! Obviously there's more chance of getting done if a game is televised which makes footballers a likely target, but i have seen numerous other sporting matches on TV where these offences gave occured but only football will get punished. Should be all or nothing really, either all sportsmen become targets for the law when they do things that away from sport would see them arrested, or all sportsmen (including footballers) can escape the law because they do it in their sport (not that i am saying this is right, just consistent!)

  23. That sounds like it would require some level of competence and planning, so might not be likely we'll do it! As for the incident itself, these things are always a bit dubious if it comes down to the word of one person against another/others. And whilst they may be telling the truth, the word of some Everton fans would'nt be enough to convice me of anyones guilt whether they be a toon player or any other team. If however they can categorically prove he did it then he deserves to be punished for it. I'm inclined to agree with Isegrim that he's not racist but is hot tempred and stupid and if he has said anything its for that reason. Still needs to be punished whatever the reason though, if they can prove it.
  24. Keith Allen in sweary tv shocker. I hear they gety a black bus driver to lose them and film the tourettic racial abuse that ensues. Sounds like Gemmill will have the video set to record then!
  25. I think he was taking the piss. The saga continues with a retort from Jackson via his production company... Newline should just kick out Bob Shaye who seems like a bit of a prick, fulfill their contractual obligations and make the Hobbit with Jackson which is waht all the fans want and which will make them (and him) another shitload of money! But that would be a bit too sensible so instead they'll keep fighting Jackson and try and get other people to make the film meaning it has a completely different director, writers, creative team, special effects team and everything else and may not get the likes of Mckellan back either!
